Raising the flag,

So, screw rules and everything. When times are exceptional challenging the stereotypes of men are strong and just carry on can go do one.

It’s okay to break, to buckle, to sway with the wind. It’s okay to show emotion, to show feeling, to show tenderness.

I’m raising my flag, right now I’m breaking. I’m not afraid to admit it. Times are challenging. There is a positive outcome coming but it is about getting there.

If we are chatting and at times I feel odd or off or distant - this is why. This is the pressure of work. Of unrelenting stress and having to try and carry on as that is the perceived thing to do.

For those close to me - my god - I cannot thank you enough. You are my rocks I’m crashing upon and you’re all amazing and I genuinely cannot love you enough.
