After finding out it was Walt who poisoned Brock, Jesse turns a gun on his former lab partner, who wiggles out of the desperate situation by framing Gustavo Fring. One of many examples of Walter lying to, and manipulating Jesse, but there’s more to this scene than just the beginning of the disintegration of their relationship. This stand-off is eerily reminiscent of one of the most famous scenes from Quentin Tarantino’s 1992 film ‘Reservoir Dogs’. A coincidence, you might say, given that Walt, unlike Steve Buscemi here, is unarmed. But what was Buscemi’s character called, again? Mr Pink. And Jesse’s surname? Pinkman. And what character is Harvey Keitel playing? Mr White. Walt’s last name? We’re just putting two and two together here, folks. [x]

You know, I don’t get it. Why would anyone paint a picture of a door, over and over again, like, dozens of times? But it wasn’t the same. Yeah, it was. It was the same subject, but it was different every time. The light was different, her mood was different. She saw something new every time she painted it. And that’s not psycho to you? /…/ That door was her home and she loved it. To me, that’s about making that feeling last.

[Ozymandias] ends with Walt driving away, then a dog crosses and you know this means something
When Jesse was in rehab, he talks about killing Gale saying he had to put down a “problem dog”. Gale was the problem dog.
Season 5 Episode 12 was called “Rabid Dog” and was about how Jesse finally wakes up and decides to take it to Walt once and for all. Jesse was the rabid dog.
In [Ozymandias] Walt lost Hank. Walt lost Jesse. Walt lost his wife and kids. Walt lost every member of his family. He’s got no home anymore. Walt is the stray dog. [x]

“It’s crazy that it’s been just over a year that we had our final day of shooting. Michael Slovis, our brilliant d.p., wrote us all a note — a famous Dr. Seuss line that said: ‘Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.’ And I couldn’t agree more with that.” - (x)
