Apollo is the god of so so sooo many things. The only other god to possibly beat him out on his many jobs is Hermes. Let's go over the list shall we.

Healing, Medicine, and Disease

Ritual Purification (Katharsis)

Archery

Herding

Civilization

Reason and Logic

Youth

Knowledge and philosophy

Logic, rationality (you wouldn't believe it with his most recent actions tho. Lol)

Alphabets (him and the Muses made some contributions to the Greek alphabet)

Science and education (The origin of education was attributed to Apollo and the Muses by the Ancient Greeks. Apollo is the god of all healing arts, including medicinal science. Pythagoreans associated him with mathematics too. (not him being the god of math 😭😭😭 Percy hates him so much.)

Apart from all these, he has loads of part time duties, like protecting sailors, graved, crops.

And at some point in time he, along with his half sister Athena, was worshipped more than even Zeus. Even though he was so powerful, he was loved and respected rather than feared.

He's a hard worker in everything he does it seems. No wonder he's so proud and smug. He has every reason to be. He's an accomplished man.

Other than the kidnapping and seducing part, Apollo's incredibly competent!! He'd rather cease to exist than do weaponized incompetence like a pathetic human man 😭😭
