sharona and monk are such a hilariously strange iteration of the mid-aughts buddy cop duo like. she’s financially dependent on him. she’s psychologically terrorizing him. he’s a terrible boss. she’s a terrible nurse. they’re canonically toxically codependent and can’t leave each other. they have so little romantic chemistry there are only 2 fics shipping them on ao3 (despite them being, you know, cop partners on a long-running procedural show). they are, oddly enough, pretty decent coparents

I just finished the Monk finale and nobody told me it was gonna be so emotional??? Not to spoil too much but I think jt ties up everything perfectly. I haven’t watched many finales of tv shows, but this was definitely one of the best in my opinion. God bless the writers of this show, truly
