After many years, I've finally finished drawing both of my New Horizons starter villagers (I drew Boone back in 2022). I really tried with Muffy, but I guess some designs are just harder to recreate at a lower resolution.

After seeing the return of Bulk Bogan stream, I felt like trying to draw him again. This time it's Bulk showing off his ultimate workout routine, drinking and pumping iron on the toilet! Still need to work on drawing muscles it seems. Anyways, glad to see that the new Hard Time isn't any less chaotic than the original.

I lied, here's my final Paint 3D Fren post. You probably saw a bit of this room in one of the FrenTuber posts. I probably could have included some more call-backs to the previous 3D Frens (other than the scooter and the Vargshroom), but I didn't think they would have worked on their own as set dressing. I also decided Girlfren should be more Fren shaped. Anyways rip Paint 3D and all that.

Here's some kind of witch lady for the spooky month. This one started off with me trying to draw someone a little bigger than usual and it turned into some kind of pixel witch. Also something about trying to draw proportions and keeping track of angles and all that.

Here's my (still unnamed character) as a Mighty Pirate™! They really are a robot of many talents, I guess. Sadly, backgrounds are still not one of my talents yet.

And now for what is easily the most elaborate gif I've made. I went into this not really thinking about obvious things like, "how am I going to make the light from the torch move around in the dark?" and "What about when the light sources meet up?". Still, I powered through in what was probably the wrong way to handle it, but I did it anyway. Now to never do something like this again.

Fren sleepy

So yeah, now he has a prop and a tracking lost animation. What else could I add? No idea since my art skills and Live2D skills are still pretty limited (plus I'm only using the free version).

Attempting to actually use my art tablet again and oh boy does it show how out of practice I am with it... and how I usually only really draw guys... and that I really have no idea how to draw noses and ears.

Apparently once I make a VTuber model, I can't stop messing about with it.

Not sure when I'll feel this in "complete" enough to try showing on the Vinebooru, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually.

Here's a small FrenTuber update (this time on the correct blog). Now he has expressions! Now he can get real mad, or be evil and also cry. Also his feet now move.

Since apparently Microsoft is shutting down Paint 3D in November, here's what'll probably be my last Fren Paint 3D thing. A thing with Fren and Girlfren and a frenship bracelet. As you can imagine if you ever used this program, making Girlfren's skirt was not easy and basically required me to lower my standards even more than usual.

This is yet another example of me kind of just messing about with something and it turning into something kind of presentable. While I normally apply shading by manually making each colour I use lighter/darker, I felt that would be too much work with that pattern. So naturally I messed around with layers and transparency until I made something that looks vaguely like my usual shading.

After watching Vargskelethor play Voices of the Void for apparently nearly 2 years now (Has it really been that long already?). I felt like drawing Omega Kerfur, your helpful assistant (and the source of many jump scares). Plus a bonus night variant.
