Mother's Day was wonderful.

Isaac helped Kevin make me a delicious breakfast in bed for me and Lilly drew me a picture of our family. Then, my cousin came by and picked up the kids as a mother's day present so Kev and I could have a little...alone time. Needless to say, that went VERY well ;) Then, when the kids came home, we all cuddled in the living room and watched Disney movies till they fell asleep. I could not have asked for a more perfect day.

Isaac is loving Harry Potter

I'm so glad he's getting to grow up with the story. He keeps running around the house with his wand and saying "Expelliarmus!" to me when I'm holding something. I drop whatever I'm holding just to get him to laugh :)

I'm such a proud momma

Seeing Isaac take care of Lilly and showing her how to do a somersault is about the cutest thing I've ever seen. When she fell down and hit her elbow on a rock, her big brother was there to save the day. It's nice to know that Kevin and I raised him right :)

Jenna smiled as Kevin led her outside and she clasped her hand in his, getting in the passenger's side when he opened the door for her. A small smile appeared on her face when he turned on some Ed Sherran and she leaned her head back onto the seat, enjoying the music. She looked out the window at his comment and nodded, sighing a little. "I know. It's beautiful. Though, I wish we lived somewhere that the seasons showed themselves more. Like Northern California. Or heck, we could be like our characters and live in Ohio. I heard it's pretty beautiful this time of the year," she shrugged, chuckling a little. Jenna loved LA, but she missed her New York sometimes. There were seasons there, not just 80 degree weather and sunshine. She took her husband's hand and frowned as she felt the cold on her fingers. "Sweetheart, your hands are freezing," she said, kissing his fingers before feeling a vibration in her pocket. It was a text from Kevin's mom. She was in town for the week and was taking Isaac and Lilly for the day so Jenna and Kevin could have a day to herself. Kevin's mother sent Jenna a picture of the two kids, sleeping in the hotel room, Isaac's arm protectively around his sister. Jenna smiled and saved the image to her phone, texting his mother back to ask her how they were doing.

A smiled stayed plastered on Jenna’s face as her husband kissed her back. She rested against his body as he leaned them against the door, sighing happily as he pulled away. They weren’t as “all over” each other as they were when they started dating, so kisses like these were moments to remember. She blushed as he looked down at her and complimented her, wrapping her arms around his neck. “I like wearing your clothes. It makes me feel beautiful. Like I’m yours,” she said, shrugging as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. She was glad she decided to wear it up today. “I love you,” she whispered, leaning up to kiss his jaw.

Kevin moved his head up and put his head forward to steal a sip of her Chi. “Well lets see, we can go out to the store and get a few things. I really want some pizza, we can order, yummy yummy pizza, and then come back and hang out around the house. Maybe go up to the tower, we can do really anything” he smiled. “Lets get you one of my sweaters and some socks and we can go.” Kevin loved to go out, and they did as a family sometimes, but he really enjoyed spending time in his home, being warm and relaxing. He patted her legs and moved them off the chair. He walked into the house and through the living room to get to the big front door where the shoes were left. He grabbed his boots and quickly slipped them on. He then led her upstairs and into their room, going into his closet and grabbing out one of his big sweaters. “Here” he smiled handing it to her. “Meet me downstairs?” he kissed her cheek and headed down towards the door again. Getting his jacket and his keys.

"Hey! That's my chai!" Jenna chuckled, moving it away from his mouth after he'd taken a sip of it. She smiled at his suggestion and stood up with him, taking his hand while following him around the house. Once they reached their room, she took his sweater from him and blushed a little once he kissed her cheek and went downstairs. She slipped off her hoodie and put his sweater on, loving how it felt on her. The sleeves went far past her hands and the bottom reached her mid-thigh. She put some socks on and slipped on her boots that she'd been saving for this cold weather and went downstairs to meet her husband. She saw him at the door and she smiled at him, grabbing her purse before walking over to him. "Ready to go, handsome?" she asked, putting her hand up on his cheek and kissing his lips gently.

Jenna smiled and sat in his lap, cuddling closer to him for warmth. "My nap was amazing. Lilly hasn't been sleeping well, so I've been up with her the past week or so every night. I was a little tired," she chuckled. She sipped at her chai and sighed happily as her husband kissed her neck.  "I love you too, Kev," she smiled, looking around at their garden, which was beginning to wilt from the approaching winter. "So, what's on the agenda for today? I'm game for anything. It's been so long since we've gotten to actually spend time together."

Kevin put on his socks and slid on a pair of his favorite slippers. He took his Kindle and slid it back into its case, after finishing one of his favorite books, and with a cup of Apple Cider and a blanket, he was ready to start his night. He walked through the quite house, the kids were at his mothers house and Jenna was probably in the Library or the Nook taking a nap at this time of the day. He walked into the kitchen and rinsed out his glass, turning on the kitchen radio and playing some quite music on his playlist. Death Cab for Cutie, Adele, and Bon Iver immediatally filled the room. He turned up the heat and turned on the oven- he always did when he was a little chilly. He texted Jenna “Tea on the counter when you wake up <3” he pressed send and put on some water for her tea. He waited, looking out the window to the garden and hanging lights until the whistle blew for the tea. He got out Jennas favorite coffee mug that he got her for their silly 6.5 monthaversary, its funny how much they loved celebrating their own little stupid holidays, on the mug it said “Every day I love you a little mower.” with a picture of a lawn mower and some grass. He put in a pack of Pumpkin chi and mixed it with some vinilla creamer and milk, just like she likes it. He placed it on the counter and walked back through the livingroom, pulling his sweater down past his hands and walking out the back door to the patio. It was a little chilly but it was suitable for him.

She was awoken by her ringer going off and she stretched slightly, pulling Kevin’s white t-shirt down over her black sweat pants. She reached over and grabbed her phone, looking at the text that Kevin had sent her. Smiling at the screen, she texted him back “I’ll be down in a minute. Thank you <3”. She spied her hoodie from high school in the corner and she walked over to put it on before going downstairs. Once she reached the kitchen, she saw her cup filled with pumpkin chai and she grinned, looking out the window to see Kevin on the back patio.
