Most of the shows I really liked have been cut or rarely have new episodes. And a lot of the newer videos are just not really for me personally... I really can't justify paying that much for so little, especially when I wouldn't even be interested in a lot of what they post going forward.
Most of the stuff I loved didn't even have to be "netflix quality" anyway. Not all of the high budget videos are bad, but most of them seem so unnecessarily over the top.
I appreciate Shane slipping the "yall can share" comment in there, but it's the only part of the video that I have any sort of positive takeaway from. If someone had an account and shared the password to a bunch of people, that would probably be the only way I could see myself watching any future content.
This whole thing is incredibly disappointing, I felt really united through watcher, I had the "ghost nurse," story on too many spirits, and gained a large amount of my following through that on Instagram. This all seems very tone deaf considering who their audience is, high school kids, and young adults. This is also so crazy considering I don't personally watch all of Watchers' shows. I'm mostly into Puppet History, Ghost Files, Survival Mode, Too many spirits, Mystery Files... Other than that... I don't watch Steven Lims shows, not my thing. But this all seems like such a bad idea, especially when America is going through a financial crisis. This isn't the time to be greedy. I love watcher, but this sucks.
Some guy the other day asked me, "Are you a m*dget?" And I said, "No," and he was like, "Why are you so short?" And I said, "I have dwarfism." And he was like, "so you're a m*dget," and I said, "No cause that's a slur, I have dwarfism." And then he proceeded to say, "we can't say anything these days," like...you people actually exist? Why do you wanna say slurs so badly?
