Dear Enzo,

You probably don’t know me as we’ve never met. My name is Morgan, and I am also a Kerr Stuart Joffre class engineer. My human friends just found out about you and told me that I have a living brother.

Words cannot describe how ecstatic I am after finding that you’re alive. For the longest time I believed that my only family was Peter Sam, my cousin. I haven’t met him yet, he’s too nervous to visit me. That’s okay, it’s nerve wracking to see an engine in my condition going under restoration.

I should probably introduce myself better, my original name was no. 2456, I had no real name at the time, and no gender. I was only alive for a few months during the war sometime during the summer of 1916. I was stationed on the western front before getting killed and forgotten.

The earl of sodor recently excavated me and brought me back to life. I have lost both of my eyes and still being caught up on the modern world. Skarloey gave me the name Morgan, I also decided to remain agender as I have been for so long.

I am relieved that I am not alone and to know that other engines in my class have survived! I hope to hear more about your story, I have so many questions. I hope that I can get some answers to them!

I do not what to say, I.. I am also quite ecstatic to find out that I am also not the only one preserved in our class! All of our cousins have more than one preserved nowadays, so it is quite a breath of fresh air to see that I’m not alone either!

I must say, I will have to thank the Earl for bringing you back with us. I hope your restoration goes well! Perhaps after your restoration, I can visit the railway you now reside, no?

My story? Well, why don’t we exchange our stories? We both can learn more about each other! But alas, I must get back to work. I hope you can reach out to me again.
