@insainted (mal) ft @pxtitxrosx
To tell you the truth, I used to have a big thing for Pam. – Really? You're kidding me. You and Pam? I would have never put you two together. You really hid it well! I usually have a radar for stuff like that.

Where: The Atrium When: April 8th, Morning
Morning rations were winding down and Atrium level of The Wexley had started to come to life as people began their days. @aggieturner has taken her place on her bench joined by @viesanders as the pair pick from their trays in comfortable silence while listening to @sarahshercohen pluck away at her guitar on another bench. @pxtitxrosx and @survivalxofxthexfittest (Emily) are cleaning up trays from rations and chatting with @hannahxinterrupted, Oscar and the other late comers @jonahfisher and @judahfisher who were still finishing up their meals. @romanxdrake and @jeremiah-rose are talking just outside the doors to the bar, wherein Abby Jenkins is already bickering at her husband bob while Tony lights up his first smoke of the morning out on the balcony. The morning is quiet, peaceful, and pleasant. Warm spring sunshine is streaming in through windows and spilling out through propped open doors and into the Atrium proper. At least until a dull, strange sort of thud ripples out from behind the bar's closed double doors, and an ear piercing scream...

Where: The W When: April 8th, Morning
Were it not for the entertainment value of it all, Tony might have felt himself annoyed by the scolding Abby was giving her husband, but instead it ended up serving as a stand in for the soap operas he'd secretly watched in his spare time. Taking long pulls off the cigarette that dangled from between two fingers, he'd actually started to full on laugh out loud as Abby called Bob a 'penis wrinkle' when the sound was abruptly cut off by a sickeningly wet crunch.
Sprawled in a pile on the balcony was not only Tony's now broken body, but on top of that the limp body of Tobias Wexley Senior. Having dropped from seemingly the Penthouse balcony located many floors above the W's, his body had landed on top of Tony who's fingers still reflexively clung to his cigarette despite the choking death rattle of impact collapsed lungs.
Abby and Bob were struck dumb for a second by what had happened right before their eyes, trying to process exactly what it was they were seeing. Once it clicked in Bob sprang into action to try and help either man as best as he could, despite both being clear lost causes, and Abby, she started to scream. Bob, begging Tony to hold on, preparing himself to go for help, didn't notice the seemingly deceased Tobias' eyes opening milky white until it was far too late. Thankfully, Abby did, and pulled her husband back just in time to avoid him being bitten... but not herself. Instead of his teeth sinking into Bob's shoulder, they found purchase in Abby's ankle.
Once broken free from the building own's teeth, his bite turned to the still barely living body beneath him, tearing at Tony's flesh as Abby turned to glare at her husband even as he fretted over his bitten wife. There was no way she was going to die alone, for him! Instead, as he started to bend over to take a look at her ankle, Abby snatched up his arm and sank her teeth hard enough into it to break the skin. Her brain dying seizure started as Bob stared at his wife with incredulity, catching her even as his gaze dropped to the bleeding bite mark on his forearm.
Dropping her unceremoniously to the floor and leaving her there with a 'I should have left you years ago', Bob rushed for the door as his head started to swim. Falling unconscious up against the wood, what was once Abby was climbing to it's feet behind him, Tobias Sr remains dragging it's body to standing with one leg and one arm at disturbingly odd angles, while Tony 's broken form was using one still good arm to drag itself back into the bar and toward the door and the noise of the Atrium.
When @romanxdrake and @jeremiah-rose manage to get the bar's door shoved open, it was because Bob's body which had been holding it shut was now on it's feet and rushing the pair with sudden ferocity, followed by Abby, Tobias and the near comically slow pace of Tony dragging behind.

Jeremiah will be bitten by Mr. Wexley who is killed by Roman
Aggie and Sher will be bitten by Bob who is killed by Eric
Emily, Charlie, and Jonah will be bitten by Abby who is killed by Oscar
Jeremiah will kill Tony.
Feel free to plot as you please, discord threads for group scenes is 100% fine as well. Unmentioned characters can be present and injured but not bitten.

He had truly expected them know about all of them, though part of him had hoped that they'd all fled together, and so that blow wasn't so bad, but the mention of his 'drawer whiskey' had his heart falling all the way into the put of his stomach, which felt like it was trying to jump into his throat. Drawer whiskey was for bad news.
Taking a long, and already slightly shuddering breath, Tobias nodded and reached for drawer knob, pulling it open with a slowness meant to prolong what was set to be the worst news of his life to date. The last time they'd shared a glass from this bottle he'd lost his mother, and now...
Almost flinching himself at the sound of the bottle's heavy glass bottom on the hardwood of his desk top, fingers trembling as he reached down for two of the glasses set in their velvet lined box, saved for occasions that called for their being withdrawn along with their matching decanter. As he poured the amber liquid into the cups, there was sigh of relief as they mentioned that they hadn't seen Toby or Margaret, and that left only one other option.
Constance.
Rather than filling the glasses with two fingers of whiskey he filled them two fingers from the top, nearly spilling it as his wife's wedding ring came into view, glittering it's diamonds in their palm. Setting down the bottle to pick up the tiny piece of his heart, the first sob tore from him. He thought he'd already mourned her, it truly shouldn't have come as a surprise, but he could feel the utter shattering of his heart.
Closing his fist around the ring so hard it was amazing it didn't cut into his palm and make him bleed, Tobias shook his head. "I failed them so badly, Lane. All of them... especially her." He'd failed her long before this. Continuously and mindlessly so as their marriage had atrophied. And now, he'd failed her in the worst way possible.
straight to business then? yeah. that was how he liked things. he always needed the bad news up front; needed a damage report so he could begin constructing a solution as soon as possible. lane bit down on the hard candy and felt the crunch deep in their teeth. “don’t know about all of them.” the sharp pieces of candy dug into their gums and tongue as it fluttered around inside their mouth.
lane nodded towards toby’s desk and inquired, “still got that bottle of whiskey in the drawer?” the one he kept stashed for special circumstances— for soothing wounds after loosing a deal or a hit piece being published about the family in one of the many newspapers and magazines who loved to pick apart their private lives. their inquiry about the bottle was enough for tobias to understand they had bad news. the last time lane had asked him to pull it out was when she had to relay the message that his mother had died.
“never crossed paths with rhett or jr,” the nickname she’d taken to calling tobias’ son despite how many times he expressed hating it. no further words would come to lane and after several long moments they gave up trying and leaned towards tobias’ desk to reveal constance’s wedding band in their palm.
“i was with her in the end.”
she wasn’t sure how much tobias would want to know about the days she had spent watching constance slowly succumb to her injuries. how would he feel to know that the hand now sitting open in surrender had once cut off his wife’s leg.
