Today we have even fewer transits than yesterday to talk about. While there are always planetary interactions in the sky, they’re either separated or minor.

The Sagittarius Moon always brings curiosity and a desire for adventure or stimulation. It will trine Chiron in Aries. A harmonious aspect that allows for your intuition to unfold. With all that you have processed, trust your intuition and know that all you’ve gone through is not for nothing.

Today, look for new possibilities or go out and find an adventure. We do have some shifting energies ahead but for now, enjoy the more light hearted energies!

Transiting Venus enters Taurus

Monday, April 29 - Thursday, May 23, 2024

Venus rules Taurus, and she loves being in her own sign. (Don’t we all?) She’s very powerful here, and is about to find many opportunities for growth and development.

Looking at her various areas:

Art - well, ceramics, certainly. We can make steady progress with our talents here (Ms M eyeballs her needles and hooks). We tend to go for pieces of art that make us relax.

Beauty - “a natural beauty, unaffected;” Prince had natal Venus in Taurus. Makeup to subtly enhance; natural fibers. Excellent for getting out to appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature.

Love - we want to make our loved ones comfortable! And cram them full of scones, rolls, cakes, etc. This isn’t a flashy, demonstrative love, more of steady reliability.

Money - sometimes splurges on “status” items, otherwise fairly miserly.

Although this transit gets off to a bumpy start, it is pretty much smooth sailing. Just don’t sleep through it!

Wednesday, May 1 - Venus/Taurus square Pluto/Aquarius, 2°06’. Problems with staying inside our comfort zones.

Saturday, May 4 - Venus/Taurus trine Juno/Vesta, 6°47’. This is a great vibe for working partnerships. We help each other out with practical solutions.

Friday, May 10 - Venus/Taurus sextile Vesta/Cancer, 13°26’. A pleasant time at work. This is also (weirdly?) very sexy for relationships.

Monday, May 13 - Venus/Taurus sextile Saturn/Pisces, 17°39’. Good for spending time with old people. We’re very disciplined with our artistic expression.

Thursday, May 16 - Venus/Taurus trine Ceres Rx/Capricorn, 21°32’. Nice familial/tribal relations; good for making our homes more comfortable.

Saturday, May 18 - Venus/Taurus conjunct Uranus/Taurus, 23°23’. If there’s any chance of busting out of any Venus rut, this is the time.

Wednesday, May 22 - Thursday, May 23:

Venus/Taurus opposite Pallas Athene Rx/Scorpio, 28°16’

Venus/Taurus conjunct Jupiter/Taurus, 29°23’

Venus/Taurus sextile Neptune/Pisces, 29°30’

This may be a very tiring time. Venus-Jupiter is always excessive; the opposition to Pallas Athene throws off our usual solid judgement, while the sextile to Neptune fogs us up. Gender identity may be an issue. We may bite off more than we can chew with artistic projects.

Friday, April 26th 2024 Sun in Taurus ♉️🌎 Moon in Sagittarius ♐️🔥

We’re fully in the happy-go-lucky and energetic vibes of the Sagittarius Moon today. Moods are finally lifting after the intense month we’ve had so far. It’s also a fairly quiet day transit wise so we can take finally take a breather for a change.

The Moon in Sagittarius will form a trine to Pluto in Aquarius today. This will turn up the volume on that Sagi Moon and it could feel like a fire is being lit under you. Relationships can also get a really nice boost with this transit.

We’re still within the zero degree mark of the Jupiter and Uranus conjunction in Taurus and with this Jupiter ruled Moon present, who knows, maybe we’ll start seeing the lucky and positive side of this rare transit.

Mercury is no longer in its backwards dance but do be aware of the shadow period of this. It can sometimes take a while to get our bearings in order to move forward.

Enjoy the light hearted vibes of the day as we step into the weekend. Go out and do something fun or spontaneous. The energies call for it! Enjoy your Friday!

2024 Sagittarius Disseminating Moon

The key phrases for the Disseminating lunar phase are “teach, share, communicate;” and “ease up on efforts with our intentions.”

With Sagittarius, there is always the possibility of oversharing. Not from any narcissistic tendencies; we just get carried away! Think of some of Dickens’ more voluble characters, or maybe poor Miss Bates in Austen’s Emma. We may blurt something out, that we should be keeping to ourselves.

Sag also can deliver some unintentionally backhanded compliments. The classic example from Linda Goodman - “That turtleneck looks great on you, it hides all your double chins!” Gee thanks…..

We may become a bit preachy, especially (alas) with our loved ones or partners. If you catch yourself starting out on some impassioned harangue of a sermon, stop it.

Thursday, April 25th 2024 Sun in Taurus ♉️🌎 Moon in Scorpio ♏️🌊 and Sagittarius ♐️🔥

Finally! We begin to see a lift in the foggy energies today. Just keep in mind that we’re not completely out of the woods just yet. The biggest news of the day is Mercury finally stationing direct after a month of wreaking havoc in the Aries ruled area of our lives. We’ll still feel some of these effects a little while longer. He’s not doing the backwards dance any more but is in a full stop so the brain might be feeling a little stuck too as he turns around to move forward again.

The Moon in Scorpio is opposite the Jupiter and Uranus conjunction in Taurus. With Jupiter it can help us feel more relaxed and friendly but with Uranus it can quickly cause some emotional detachment or distraction. Together this can cause a lack in self control. All of these feelings can be adapted so how you apply them is purely up to you.

The Moon in Scorpio will also trine Mars and Neptune in Pisces adding levels of courage and allowing us to use our intuition better. Dreamy feelings of romance begin to fill the air with Mars and Neptune coming together. Just be cautious to not over idealize situations.

The Moon will move into fun and spontaneous Sagittarius later tonight where we finally start seeing the path clear, officially putting eclipse season behind us. The heaviness is starting to ease up a bit energetically allowing for more forward action. I still advise to take things slowly today so we don’t trip before we get to the finish line but yes, the fog is lifting. Brighter, sunnier days are ahead!

Pshh, hey. If you are in a budget or if you have to hide your practice, I have some witchy tips for you.

• You don’t need to have an altar. But if you want to, creating an altar on a wooden box is great; you can collect stuff to put in there and you can hide it under your bed.

• You don’t need crystals. Common rocks can be energised to act with a certain intention and they work just as well. You can also associate the place you got the stone/rock from with an intention, such as: a rock from a river or sea can be used for cleansing, purifying, taking energies away from you. A stone found at the property of a hospital can be used for health spells. These are vague examples, so I might make a list later on of all kinds of things you can do with mineral founding.

• Energised water is a great offering to most entities. Water holds memory and it’s easy to energise it with a certain intention if you concentrate.

• You don’t actually need candles. For many deities, an object that remembers you of them works as a taglock, an identification of the deity you’re worshipping. Besides, many spells do not need candles to work, such as: ritual baths, petitions, etc.

Have fun, and remember that your practice isn’t meant to look the same as other practitioners’. We are supposed to do things our own way, as long as it doesn’t harm anyone or anything.

Wednesday, April 23rd 2024 Sun in Taurus ♉️🌎 Moon in Scorpio ♏️🌊

The energies are tense and this girly is healing from a nasty cold. All that shit from yesterday is still going strong today. The End!

Okay, okay, just kidding. But that is the mood I woke up in. Working my way out of it.

Today is the last day Pluto in Aquarius is squaring the Sun in Taurus, and thank GAWD for that! I’m sure you’re done with all the transformation talk. We get it Pluto. We get it!

The Scorpio Full Moon energies will last through the day but look at the bright side, once the Moon moves into Sagittarius tomorrow, we’re officially ending this eclipse cycle. Oh and Mercury will also step out of the microwave tomorrow morning. So one more day of this crazy energy we’ve been in. I’m holding on for dear life.

Have at it today, guys. I’m gonna go steam my face and do Om chants until the vice grip in my head lets loose. That’s all the releasing I’m doing for this full moon.
