honestly, this is a good practice!

there's no get skilled quick method for art, you really do just have to keep at it. studies like this and even tracings can actually help you get a better feel for drawing different forms and shapes (just, if you trace a piece and decide to post it, be sure that you make it clear that it's a tracing and don't claim another's work as your own)

keep in mind that everyone is different and progresses differently; have patience and grace with yourself! try to pull away from comparing your art to others' and learn to view it more objectively, it'll save you a lot of grief in the long run

one of the most important parts of creating art is to relax and have fun with it! 😁

ah, well, the one I have is from KAMO, it's water resistant and claims to be durable but I've had mine for less than a week so I can't really speak on that aspect haha— but I'm pretty happy with it so far!

honestly? I wish I'd thought about it at the time (I really do just forget sometimes >.<), but I'd start with looking into what your options are to support indie artists or small businesses, such as through handmade sites like Etsy. I've bought good things here and there this way, including even my dog's collar tag

(I promise it's very shiny and pretty, just not particularly clean atm! lol)

btw buying a fanny packs has been a game changer when other forms of purses like backpacks and tote bags and such put strain on my back, shoulders/neck, etc. where I'm already having a lot of severe pain these days

obv the main downside is the much smaller carrying capacity but for when I pretty much mostly just need phone, keys, wallet for a quick pop over to the shops, it's basically perfect
