hey all, we just wanted to make an official closing post here and say a few things. 

1. we are closed due to many things, not just activity. the biggest of which being the fact that we were left with two admins and trying to scramble and find more. it was hard. we weren’t mentally prepared for it at all. we tried our best. it was unprecedented but don’t start dragging any of the admins whether they were new on the team or old because chances are you don’t know the admins and are pinning blame on someone not even involved.

2. real life things came up in both main admins’ lives that prevented us from keeping both npc accounts active. 

3. everyone that keeps saying the tl was incredibly active.... it really wasn’t. there was times where there was an hour or two without a reply and that started the night of opening. we aren’t sure why, but it happens. even the event that we held on saturday was a bit lackluster. participation was low compared to msu 1.0 despite us hitting cap. even if we hit cap after the next activity check, we were sure that upon seeing the activity, people would lose muse and jump ship immediately. this was all with us being super lax on activity as well. we only unfollowed if you truly hadn’t posted. it was discouraging but we would have powered through it if not for points 1 & 2.

4. we give our blessing to whoever decides to keep msu going in discord. those characters are yours. we just ask you not use our NPCs or student buildings/locations we came up with. 

5. please stop speculating about us. we’re exhausted. and tired. so tired just going through our personal dashboards and seeing random speculation. if you would like to discuss msu that’s fine we can’t stop you and we won’t. we just ask you to not try and dig for a deeper meaning for our closed post when there isn’t any.

6. we want to thank everyone who was excited for msu and loved msu as much as we did. we really do wish things had gone another way but sometimes with things like this it just doesn’t.

not sure what kind of answer you’re expecting...? i’d say we’re fairly active (keep in mind it has only been 3 or 4 days) and like every other rp we have our slower and faster moments :] we have group of gmt people that will surely be around during the more ‘calm’ moments, or the muns that just don’t ever sleep. we wrapped up our first event last night and all went well! we’re very thankful for the members who joined us.

edit by another admin: with all due respect, i thought we as the RPC went over the fact that asking ‘how active’ a group is a pointless question and extremely discourteous. if you are interested in joining and would like to see how our activity is, we suggest that you send an application when our submit is open. have a great day!
