*Monday's PowerUp* *IS DELAY DANGEROUS?* Running with an idea, starting a business, scaling up or improving in any area of life is much like starting an engine, you need a measure of fire to begin the process. A fresh idea often comes with some amount of fire and intensity. This fire needs to ignite the process as soon as possible. More often than not delay and procrastination kills this fire. Yes, there's a time you may delay action in order to put things in perspective but doing that beyond reason leads to as they say "analysis paralysis!" Inaction breeds fear, doubt, uncertainty and you begin to forget certain details of the ideas you got. The longer you delay action, the more the idea fades into oblivion. This is the reason people get pumped up in a meeting and have lofty dreams and ideas only to put them on the back burner and eventually forget them altogether. So ideas really don't rule the world, implemented ideas do! So is delay dangerous? "Indecision and delays are the parents of failure." George Canning "Defer no time, delays have dangerous ends."
