You can’t just say “experience in .... ” and compare it to anything. There is valuable experience, and there is worthless experience - and everything in between.

As for (undergraduate) degrees, they are all worth about the same, but if you graduate with a technical degree an no experience from internships or co-ops, you have absolutely done it wrong.
