sorry i lied this isn't actually an mttv blog this is a BLOOK FAMILY BLOG !!!!!!!!!!!! (/joke i love mttv this is my excuse to think about dark world mttv. but these freaks live in my brain and i'm ill.)

anyways. here are my current concepts for the blook family's dark world forms. unfortunately i also lied about the mtt wip i posted a few days ago because i finished all three of them and then decided i didn't actually like how mettaton turned out so he had some changes. as of right now i am VERY HAPPY WITH ALL OF THEM !! they may change of course but i'm satisfied for the moment. these were partially inspired by all the other really awesome designs floating around . theyre so cool. i love them all

this hypothetical Dark World naturally takes place in my beautiful deltarune MTTV timeline which i will probably talk about sometime because i have SO MANY THOUGHTS. right now the gist of what to know is Mettaton is super duper transgender and INCREDIBLY objectum. he's already super gay for the old CRT Kris and Susie put in his house when he gets him and they start dating sometime after Mettaton finds out Mr. Tenna is a real guy and likes him back. yaoi!!!!!!

neither Mettaton nor Maddie are fused by this point, but they're both possessing objects! Maddie often jumps between bodies to try things out. currently she's possessing a training dummy she originally got to practice ass-kicking, while Mettaton is possessing the robot body he put together with his TV boyfriend's cheerleading and some tips from his wonderful online friend who knows a little bit about coding and has endless praise to sing of Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 2. shockingly it functions but it DOES need to be charged

Blooky, meanwhile, is not possessing anything, which is why they're still a ghost and their cousins get arms and legs. they are happy this way. i love that acorporeal they/them.

I meant to make Mettaton like seven or eight feet tall but i think i failed. he doesn't look to be proportioned like that. but it's fine just use his box for reference. I'll finish my height chart eventually. then you'll all see. please enjoy whatever the hell he has to be doing here to lay on her like that

for the dark world, i was originally planning to make it mainly MTTV-focused to appease the worms, and thus much of it would be centered around Mettaton. HOWEVER. my secret is indeed that i am a blooks fan at heart and the objectum yaoi is just a very very very very very good bonus. so it's about the three of them plus Tenna. grins. no i haven't made the ruins dummy yet it's their deadbeat cousin yes i think about it a lot too. this is going to be VERY subject to change because i can't decide anything, but i want to lay out my current ideas. canon be DAMNED i need that objectum guy to officially introduce his boyfriend to his cousins

Tenna is kind of a little bit obsessed with the idea of meeting Mettaton face-to-face and getting to hold him and properly reciprocate all the affection Mettaton shows him. he feels like he owes Mettaton the world -- spoiler alert, the feeling is mutual -- and at some point he realizes he COULD do that. all he'd have to do is teach Mettaton how to open a dark fountain and they could get married and live happily ever after. trust and believe. he attempts to banish all the thoughts about how this could go wrong (mettaton says no and dumps him, mettaton can't do it for some reason and is disappointed, the angel itself comes to strike tenna down because he's permanently lost the privilege to want things and be happy, he isn't mettaton's type after all and his suit looks weird and dumb, he rolls over and crushes mettaton, the dark world is lame and mettaton decides he wants to go back to normal, and various other worst case scenarios) and badabing badaboom whaddaya know it WORKS!!! somehow. is Mettaton determined enough for that. who knows!

anyways, the dark world works! it's not just constrained to one room, either, and conveniently encapsulates the whole house. Blooky and Maddie are dragged in too. neither of them know what the HELL is going on but like. it's PROBABLY a cool dream. when all of them meet up Mettaton and Tenna seem to agree that this is very much real. introductions are Strange but what the hell, this might as well happen. Why not. their cousin HASN'T completely lost it (debatable) and his tv really DOES like it when he talks to him.

haven't fully decided what i want to happen story-wise. i just know i want Blooky to quit the police force. so they're gonna do that.

as for weapons, i have SOME idea of what i want to do!

Blooky's hands, although not properly demonstrated in the primary illustration, are actually speakers! the inside of their cloak is intended to work sort of like a DJ table or soundboard or electronic keyboard or something. they can also pick a track and play it through their hands, which ends up being their primary method of attack. here's them blasting the fuck out of some poor soul

i am ENAMORED with the idea i have seen many people run with the idea of giving Mettaton a chainsaw since he had one in Cooking With A Killer Robot and i fully agree that is one of the most correct things you can do with him. however i'm not sure i'll be doing that here. his weapon here will likely be an umbrella that he carries around in the light world so he doesn't get caught in the rain and get soaked (thing that has some consequences for a robot). this is inspired by his EX attack where he sends out little Mettatons with umbrellas to throw hearts at you, and also i play Splatoon. YES i love the visual of him with a Stamper but LISTEN. HIS BRELLA. HE'LL DROWN WITHOUT IT.

and as for Maddie, who can really say? i'll probably give her the kittycat boxing gloves (and her tail may or may not be made of bombs. don't tell anyone) but i also really like her getting a magical girl staff. i just know she's a menace and has a GREAT time. she might also get knives.

so uhm. yay! thanks for looking. hope you like them. no promises but i plan to post about them more if i can. there is so much i didn't cover here. if you notice any of the details i put on them i love you
