I bought the dread special edition way back on release and goddd it was so worth for that art book. I bought it purely for that.

The other trinkets are nice too. I looooove seeing the progress though, and all the concepts they went through. It nice too because it also features artwork from the other 2D games.

wanna lore dumppp about my weird metroid headcanon au continuity thinggg so bad.

I'm making my pilot about it so i don't wanna spoil anything, but there is some context and things i wanna talk about prior, specifically on the pirates cause my project mainly focuses on Samus, who is not too different from canon lore really (i love her as she is sooooo much, couldn't bare doing anything different despite the purpose of it being a slightly different continuity).

Remember when Metroid Other M tried to retcon Metroid 2 and Super to have the same Varia suit design as OM's and then Dread came out and was like no actually all the unique suit designs are canon, there is no one canon design. I'm really glad Dread did that.
