So much going on in this clip! I had the privilege of talking to Karuhat a few months ago and he told me that his fights against Chatchai were his most significant achievements.
Karuhat lost on points the first time they fought in September '93. He then won the Lumpinee Super Bantamweight title from Chatchai later that year. They fought for a third and final time in March '94 (present fight) where Karuhat defended his title against the man known as 'Samart 2'.
ℹ️ Lumpinee Super Bantamweight (122 lbs) title fight | Karuhat Sor Supawan vs Chatchai Paiseetong March 8th, 1994 (Lumpinee Stadium)

September 9th, 1994 - Lumpinee Stadium | Matee Jadeepitak (red) vs Chatchai Paiseetong (blue)
Chatchai was a fimeu renowned for his fast, accurate head kicks and was a former 2x Lumpinee Super Bantamweight (122 lbs) Champion. On May 27th, 1994, he defeated Matee via high kick TKO in the second round.
Two months later, Matee became the Lumpinee Featherweight (126 lbs) Champion following a fourth-round doctor’s stoppage victory over “The King of Lumpinee” Therdkiat Sittepitak. It was a significant win for Matee since Therdkiat had won this title three times in three years and had also previously held the Lumpinee Super Bantamweight title which he defended on two occasions.
⏩ Fast-forward to the present fight; Matee set out to defend his featherweight title against the man who stopped him four months prior. 🍿 👀
