Ashido: [Gasps] No!

Uraraka: It was unbelievable!

Yaoyorozu: Okay, okay, we want to hear everything. Mina, get the wine and unplug the phone. Ochako, does this end well or do we need tissues?

Uraraka: Oh, it ended verrrrry well.

Ashido: [Rushing over with wine glasses] Do not start without me! Do not start without me!

Yaoyorozu: Alright, let’s hear about the kiss. Was it like a, soft brush against your lips, or was it like a, y'know, “I got to have you know” kind of thing?

Uraraka: Well, at first it was really intense, y'know, and then... Oh god, and then we just sort of sunk into it...

Ashido and Yaoyorozu: [Squealing] Awwwwww!

Midoriya: And, uh, and then I kissed her.

Kaminari: Tongue?

Midoriya: Yeah.

Blind Date (1)

*Takes place in an AU where Everyone's 20+ and are college students*

Momo: I don't know Uraraka-san. I understand, you're trying to help but... I-I haven't been on a date in a long time and-

Uraraka: And that's exactly why you should go on this date Momo-chan! You're 23 years old. You don't want to spend your whole life alone do you?

Momo: *Looks away* I...

Uraraka: *Slings arm over shoulder* Look just give it a chance, you'll love my friend. He's a great guy.

Momo: *Sigh* Fine, but ONE DATE only.

Uraraka: Alright! You won't regret it!

-A Few Night later-

Momo: Maybe this was a bad idea after all.

*Currently Momo was standing outside of the restaurant, she and Uraraka agreed where her Blind Date would take place. She was dressed up nicely with her hair done. All that was left. . . was for her date to get here at the designated time*

Momo: *Thinks and looks at her wrist watch* I can't believe I got her 30 minutes early. Am I THAT nervous?

???: Um... Excuse me, you're Yaoyorozu-san right?

Momo: *Jumps* Eh?! Oh um, yes. *Turns* Who's ask-

*Momo's eyes grew wide at the man before her. It was a taller and notably handsome man with wild short green hair and enticing emerald green eyes.*

???: *Rubs back of his head* Guess, I wasn't the only one who decided to arrive early.

Deku: My name is Midoriya Izuku. But my friends call me Deku.

Momo: *High-Pitched Squeak* Yes! Hi, my name is single. And I'm Yaoyorozu Momo.

*Momo blinked before covering her face in embarrassment. Only for Deku to laugh*

Deku: It's okay, I understand that you're nervous. How about we go inside?

*Momo nodded, and blushed as Deku took her hand*

Momo: *Thinks* Maybe this wasn't a bad idea after all.

Mina: Just don't freeze when you see Deku, Momo.

Momo: Please Ashido-san; I never freeze. You know me better than that

Deku: *Walks up to Momo and Mina* Hey girls.

Mina: Yo Deku.

Momo: *Stuttering* H-H-Hi M-Midoriya-kun

*Deku blinked in confusion as Mina snickered and Momo covered her face mortified*

-Later-

Tsuyu: Kero, did she freeze?

Mina: *Grins* Like a deer in headlights.

Momo: *Blushes* Are you two finished?!

What kind of mother Sung-Sun would be (if Bleach is any indication)

As requested by anon. :)

In my parent series, I consider what kind of mom or dad a Bleach character would make…assuming that their behavior in Bleach would translate directly into parenthood. So what kind of mom would Sung-Sun be like, based on Bleach?

1. She would tell her kids that arguing makes them look weak.

Some parents tell their kids to be nice or threaten to pull the car over. Sung-Sun would chide her kids by telling them that arguing makes them look weak.

Sung-Sun: Remember, children.

Sung-Sun: Arguing over who gets to go down the slide first only tells your enemies that you are ready to be slaughtered.

Sung-Sun: And it is annoying.

2. She would dress them in hand-me-down clothes.

The clothes would be too big for a while, but Sung-Sun would not see any problem there.

Kid: Mo-om! The sleeves are way too long!

Sung-Sun: What’s wrong with long sleeves?

3. She would teach proper manners.

Like covering your mouth when you cough. Or sneeze. Or breathe.

Sung-Sun: Really, just keep your mouth covered at all times.

4. She would teach her kids important life lessons.

Like: “If you can’t say anything nice…”

Sung-Sun: Then say something mean quietly, behind your hand.

Sung-Sun: Just make sure it’s still loud enough for the other person to hear.

5. She would sympathize when it came to group projects.

Nobody likes group projects. Sung-Sun would be especially understanding when her kids are complaining about them.

Sung-Sun: Yes, working with other people is the worst.

Sung-Sun: They bicker and make you look bad.

Sung-Sun: But it is an unfortunate necessity.

6. She would be no help at all when it came to animal dioramas.

Sung-Sun: Here. I made you a female lion.

Kid: It, um, has a mane.

Sung-Sun: Yes.

Kid: Doesn’t that make it a male lion?

Sung-Sun: Since when?

7. She would remind her kids about the importance of being political.

Even while young, Sung-Sun would impress upon her kids the importance of being involved politically.

Sung-Sun: I helped make someone a queen once.

Kid: Wow!

Sung-Sun: Don’t be too impressed she almost immediately went to jail.

8. She would not always get along with the other parents.

Mostly because she’d make quiet sarcastic comments during the PTA meetings.

Sung-Sun: Bake sales are weak.

Parent: DID YOU SAY SOMETHING, SUNG-SUN?!

Sung-Sun: No.

9. She would teach her kids to beware the world.

Sung-Sun would not have the most optimistic outlook on life. You know, because in her experience the world is like a vast desert where everybody is trying to eat you.

Sung-Sun: I suggest that you make friends with a queen and then stay with her forever.

Sung-Sun: Or be a queen yourself. That works too.

10. She would not always be the best at showing affection.

I’m not saying Sung-Sun wouldn’t love her kids. But she isn’t very touch-feely. She might not always know the best ways to show affection.

Sung-Sun: I noticed you crying because you broke you doll.

Sung-Sun: So I removed the left arms from ALL of your dolls and created this cool arm monster.

Sung-Sun: Why are you screaming?

Hi. I really like your post about relationship headcanons. Can I ask for the same thing except for MiriDeku (Mirio x Deku), AmaDeku (Amajiki x Deku), and NejiDeku (Nejire x Deku) : who confessed first, when they started dating, when they got married, when they had their first kid (both Mirio and Amajiki 's case,) and how many kids they have? I love pairing Deku because I feel like he'll love anyone despite how different they may be. I also love your work, blog and of course the admins :)

Togata Mirio x Midoriya Izuku:

Mirio had been interested in Izuku for a while, even before they met

When they finally met however, he felt a spark, he knew that Izuku was someone really special

Izuku had been in awe of Mirio since they first met

He definitely made a special page for him in his notebook detailing not only his quirk, but things he learnt about him (his favourite hobbies, his likes and dislikes)

Izuku was devastated after Mirio lost his quirk, even though Mirio never said anything, he understood perfectly just how helpless he must feel

Izuku then took it upon himself to make sure Mirio was never left wanting for anything, he always visited him at the hospital and after Mirio got discharged hung out with him at every opportunity

Mirio didn’t know when his feelings for Izuku changed so drastically but he knew that he wanted to spend every moment with him and so he wasted no time in confessing to Izuku

Poor Izuku blushed so hard he was steaming from his ears but managed to say yes

They didn’t really waste any time getting married, they loved each other and had the full support of their friends and family why wait?

And they got married on their birthday (Izuku’s 19th and Mirio’s 20th birthday)

About a year after the downfall of the Villain Association…

“Hey Izuku. Wanna have a baby?” (Pokerfaced Mirio)

“Whaaaa!!? (Blushing Izuku)”

They decide to adopt two children, a sweet boy who shared their passion for heroes and a shy girl who loved to dream

Amajiki Tamaki x Midoriya Izuku

Tamaki’s first impression of Izuku was that he was a timid individual like himself but he was quite surprised when he realized that he could also be determined and strong

He became even more attached to him due to their shared concern for Mirio and his well being

They started hanging out more often, and Izuku found himself becoming closer to the older boy

He admired his determination to become a better hero and live up to his hero name and his quirk was extremely unique and fascinating

They trained together, helping each other surpass their limits further

They spent so much time together that Mirio jokingly asked if they were dating and Tamaki blushed

After that he started thinking more about how he felt for Izuku and he realized that he did in fact love him

After this realization he couldn’t make eye contact with Izuku without a heavy blush, if it was hard for him to talk to him before it was a hundred times worse now

Izuku felt worried for him, did he do something to Amajiki-senpai for him to be so distant all of a sudden?

He decided to confront Tamaki during training and ask him why he was being distant and during that conversation Tamaki accidentally blurted out that he was in love with him

Both of their faces were deep red

“I…Amajiki-senpai…I l-l-l-like y-you too…” Izuku would stutter and the atmosphere would remain awkward for a long while until Tamaki asks Izuku if he could walk him home

Tamaki and Izuku move in together after school ended and lived together for about 3 years before Izuku proposed to Tamaki

Tamaki got very emotional and cried, he had never been as happy as he was at that moment

About two years after their marriage all their old friends from UA had a get together, and there they met Bakugo and Kirishima with their little girl

Needless to say they were charmed

Later that night while recalling the events of that day they both gushed about how cute Bakugo and Kirishima’s daughter was and Izuku just asked Tamaki what it would be like to have their own child

“Why not, Izuku?”

By the following week they adopted a cheerful little girl who was a bundle of energy

Hado Nejire x Midoriya Izuku

Nejire had always been a curious person, so when she noticed how interested one of her best friends were in Midoriya Izuku she also grew curious about the boy

Although when they first met Izuku, she really didn’t see why Mirio was so intrigued by him, sure his reactions were funny, the depth at which he analyses heroes were impressive and his quirk was strong, but other than this what was so special about him she thought

During Eri’s rescue was when she finally saw what set him apart from the rest of the students in class 1A

His tenacity, perseverance and courage, he had the makings of a fine hero, the kind of hero she knew would make a difference in this world especially during these hard times

She could never forget his face, his expression, how he fought Overhaul while going through excruciating pain as he pushed his body to the limit, all for the sake of a little girl

Her heart fluttered and her face felt hot every time she remembered

She had never felt this way before so she was quite puzzled as to why she felt so flustered when thinking about Izuku

For now, she just wanted to see more of him even though it made her heart flutter and her mind go foggy

Izuku was a little taken aback when he gained the attentions of the most energetic member of UA’s top three

Besides the point Hado-senpai was extremely beautiful and talking to her was no small task for the shy boy

He got used to talking to her eventually and opened up to her, telling her more about his dream of becoming a hero that people can look upto just like All Might, his frustrations, everything

He found that despite her bubbly personality she listened well when she was focused on him and gave sound advise

Izuku found himself admiring her more than he previously did

Nejire and Izuku’s friends were quite curious about them meeting so often that they decided to confront them

Uraraka and Iida asked Izuku about Nejire first, Ochako going so far as to ask if they were dating which Izuku denied but he felt a little surprised by how his heart leapt at the thought

When Mirio and Tamaki asked Nejire about how she only ever seemed to be with Izuku and looked different while she was with him she had an epiphany

All those strange things she was feeling? It was love! She smiled giddily why had she been so oblivious

After her realization she bolted, leaving Mirio and Tamaki confused but that didn’t matter, she had to find Izuku and tell him, ask him if he felt the same way

She looked everywhere, but he was nowhere to be found, desperate she ran out of the school building and using her quirk shot up into the sky still looking for him 

She sighed in relief when she finally found him near the school gates with Iida and Uraraka and shot down landing on top of him

“Izuku! I’m in love with you, will you be my boyfriend?” She would just blurt it out like that and poor Izuku would be left speechless

He would probably ask her to repeat what she said because someone as incredible as Hado-senpai surely wouldn’t confess to him right? But she was and he accepted her feelings in a daze

After about 2 years of dating at a Christmas dinner at the Midoriya residence he proposed to Nejire in the presence of both their families

Nejire beamed, Izuku was a blushing mess and Izuku’s mom was in tears being comforted by Nejire’s mom

Barely 2 months after their wedding, Izuku woke up to an empty bed and the sound of his wife retching in the toilet

He rushed to where she was mumbling incoherently and scrambling to help her

After she was done Nejire turned to face Izuku with a tired smile, holding up a small white stick with a red plus sign

Izuku nearly fainted, “Really? You-you’re pregnant?!” 

He would be so excited and faintly terrified but determined to do his best

Nejire gave birth to fraternal twins, two boys. One boy had the features of their mother while the other resembled his father

Yo I’m bored

And I wanna make a list of all the Nier Automata machines’ namesakes, because I love trivia, I love philosophy, and I love this game.

Marx and Engels

As you probably guessed, they’re named after Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, best known for their collaborative work, the Communist Manifesto. I don’t really have any solid theories on why a bucket buzzsaw and an oil rig transformer got names like that, maybe because industry/industrial things are important to communism according to the book? I dunno, it’s been a while.

Beauvoir

Most seem to call her “the opera boss.” She seems to be named after Simone de Beauvoir, a French philosopher who delved into existentialism as well as gender and feminism. 

Interestingly, the machine who Beauvoir is infatuated with, Jean-Paul, is named after Jean-Paul Sartre, a fellow existentialist and lifelong lover of the real-life Beauvoir. Machine Jean-Paul even quotes his namesake when you first speak to him: “Existence precedes essence.”

Pascal

Most likely named after Blaise Pascal, French mathematician and theological writer. Dude didn’t even live to 40 but he still managed to leave his mark with a couple theorems, early functioning calculators, and the famous Wager about how believing in God is logically less risky and more potentially rewarding than doing otherwise. As a Christian, it’s pretty likely the human Pascal would have dismissed Nietzsche as a guy “skipping profound and jumping straight to crazy” as well. 

Interestingly, Pascal’s Wager comes from  the Pensées, a book left unfinished due to Pascal’s death. You’re given this very book to take to machine Pascal, but never end up delivering it since his village is slaughtered soon after. 

In addition to all that, Pascal is also a form of programming language as well as a unit for the measurement of internal stress or pressure. Could be references to how Pascal the machine is exceptionally eloquent and intelligent, and suffice to say, he’s under quite a lot of stress by route C.

Ernst

The Forest King is probably named after Ernst Bloch, another Marxist philosopher. He was best known for writing “The Principle of Hope,” which explores the idea of utopia, a concept that this machine tried to create by forming a kingdom as a “utopia for machines.”

Immanuel 

The baby Forest King, probably named after Immanuel Kant, the guy responsible for Kantian ethics. Given how frustrating that set of ethics can be, and how convoluted Kant is when it comes to explaining himself, I’d wanna skewer his machine representation too. 

On a side note, the image of a swaddled baby in a crib sort of reminds me of the typical depiction of baby Jesus, another king of sorts who was also called Immanuel.

Grün

After going nuts and attacking everything, including ally machines, this dark colossus was exiled deep into the ocean. In similar fashion, radical socialist philosopher/activist Karl Grün was exiled for his shenanigans. Twice actually. 

Kierkegaard

The robo cult leader is probably named after Danish philosopher and theologian  Søren Kierkegaard, one of the first to delve into existentialism. Human Kierkegaard, to sum it up, wrote a metric fuckton about everything Christian. Interestingly, he became disgusted with the Church as a government institution, believing that mixing in politics caused the religion to deteriorate into nothing more than a casual trend full of hypocrites. 

Kierkegaard apparently emphasized use of one’s consciousness, and the term “leap of faith” is commonly attributed to him. Though I doubt he’d approve of leaping into vats of molten metal…

So-Shi and Boku-Shi

(Boku-Shi looks identical except he’s got cannons instead of blade arms lol)

Named after the Japanese pronunciations of Chinese philosophers Zhuangzi and Mozi. 

Zhuangzi is credited for writing the manuscript that bears his name. It’s mostly a collection of fables and poetry that dismiss human perception of things like good and evil or life and death, emphasizing a sort of carefree wandering approach to existence. 

Mozi is known for opposing the philosophy of Confucianism, advocating self-restraint and reflection over obedience to established order. 

Honestly I have no clue why they would have these names because all they did was attack me in a factory and electrify a pond in the most not-carefree and unrestrained fashion possible.

Hegel

Fun fact: while researching, this guy’s name kept coming up either as influence or inspiration for a bunch of different people. He had a firm-held belief in the freedom of mankind and their self-determination and influenced the likes of Nietzsche, Marx, and made way for psychoanalysis and existentialism. … this guy seems important but it’s 3am and I’m trying to do a brief analysis here…

Auguste and Friedrich

Big brother and a buncha little brothers, the former named after Auguste Comte, a guy who was seriously put off by the French Revolution and tried to introduce positivism to help. He’s credited with coining the term “altruism.”

The latter is probably named after Friedrich Nietzsche. Nihilism, God is dead, etc, tbh I’m still not sure what the heck was going on with this whole sequence in the game to say anything about this, other than that I’m sort of amused that Nietzsche makes his cameo with a bucket on his head.

  Ko-Shi and Ro-Shi

Named after the Japanese pronunciations for Confucius and the Taoist Laozi respectively. 

tl;dr: you get to beat up Confucianism and Taoism at the same time!
