There's something hilarious about how so much subsequent media has positioned Vampires and Werewolves as, like, binary opposite entities, and then you read Dracula (1897) and realize that wolves are that guy's preferred solution to every problem. You'd say something to Dracula about "ah yes, werewolves, vampires' great eternal enemies," and he'd just be like "you mean my subcontractors?"

One of the best parts of the Superman’s Supergirl Scene is that more people are aware that Supergirl isn’t Gender Swapped Superman, she’s Hulk in a 5’1 Blonde Woman with an early 2000s Tony Stark alcohol problem

She saw her homeworld die when she was a young adult and had to grow up in a world where no one could understand her or her trauma… with the exception of her Baby Cousin she was ordered to protect. Except 1, he was a baby when krypton exploded and doesn’t carry that trauma the same way Kara does and 2, he’s a 30 year old man while she’s still a teenager/young adult. The only guarantee she has (“Protect baby Kal-El”) is out the window and all she has is her Dog and her Pain

I didn’t watch the Supergirl show, but I do follow supercorp shippers so I guess you could say that I secondhand ship it because of them. The funniest thing about the ship, to me, has always been the idea of them marrying and forcing Superman and Lex to become in-laws.
