To the point where I am debating re-theming my blog again, as I have done whenever my main hyperfixation changes. Inktober days 2 and 3! Work prevented me from making and posting the first one yesterday, but now I’m all caught up. AND I found my dip pen and got some new inks! Day two tranquil is waves crashing on the shore, and day three roasting is scary stories by the fire. Now lets see if i can actually come up with something for tomorrow!

I mean if the ticket price is the biggest dilemma you could always do what i did for 2 years and volunteer the con to get in free? I feel like to few people know this is an option since DCC is pretty much entirely run by volunteers. Its definitely a different experience than you get from buying a ticket since you’re essentially working half of the day for the days you want to attend in order to be there, but its still a lot of fun and can make attending more feasible.

So I’m trying to decide if I attempt a cosplay for Denver Comic Con this year or no, but I have no ideas of what to be if I do??? Like I have been so busy lately and not been super in to anything or had time to get into anything pop-culturey. soooo if anyone would like to make a sugestion, otherwise I’ll probably just go the graphic tee route this year

I always read “caw-pics” but I went to their panel at Denver Comic Con this year and the representative, his professional artist friend, and most of the people there said “koh-pics” sooo.....

Name & Nicknames: I’m Chiara (pronounced key- are- uh) so.. i get all of the mispronunciations of that. Also Chris, Kiki, and Chiara-tiara ‘cause they rhyme. I hate being called Kiki though, so... yeah.

Gender: Genderfluid. It fluctuates a lot though, so typically its like a daily or weekly thing of am I non-binary or feeling female or what.

Star sign: Cancer

Height: 5’8”

Dream trip: Disney world. Even though i’ve been I will always love Disney world, especially if you can go at an off time so its not as busy as say July or something. But otherwise I like museum roadtrips and Caribbean cruises

Hogwarts House: Slytherpuff. although I am more Slytherin than Hufflepuff, so I guess I should probably change my theme soon... 

Average hours of sleep? Oh god. ummm with no meds or anything to help its like 16 a night. And I’ll still wake up exhausted. With meds I’m at a solid 8 hours but actually waking up. Although getting my brain to shut up long enough to get to sleep is fun.

When I made my blog: I started in 2013 as Consultingdetectiveinabigbluebox, lived through the mishapocalypse and all of the fandom drama, so Yeah I’m OLD TUMBLR. Then deleted in about 2015 because I only ever liked stuff instead of rebloging because tags are a thing. Made a new blog as cassbuttofthelord, changed to manictaserdreamgirl, and now I’m here. Still not rebbloging stuff because TAGS. *facepalms*

Cat or dog person: I like both but I’m allergic to cats and our border collie Nugget is my baby.

We have a shepherd mix of some sort named racer who will do the same thing as cody and just takes them to later be left on the floor. However nugget our border collie loves to chew on the fresh uncooked beans. He doesn’t actually  eat them though, just chews them up and spits them out which unfortunately leads to chewed up green bean all over the floor.

Fun Things to do with your pet: Green Bean Test

One of my neighbors had a REALLY FAT golden retriever she adopted, that needed to be put on a diet, but even super-low-cal food wasn’t working, becuase Ella was still hungry and would open the cabinet to eat the whole bag.  Vet suggested that she needed a filler Food so she could feel full without the extra calories, and suggested canned green beans, which are mostly fiber and lean protein.

Ella fucking LOVES green beans.  She does a dance for them if you mention them.  Her ‘sibling’ the police academy washout shepherd, thinks she’s insane.

Even if your pet doesn’t like green beans*, offering them a canned green bean is inevitably HILARIOUS becuase they’ll either be thrilled or otherwise make strange faces.  Results so far:

Ella (golden retriever): Overjoyed.  gets up on her hind legs to dance without prompting.

Sampson (Black shepherd): Offended, yells until you give him REAL treats.

Cody (Gentleman shepherd): is concerned, becuase this is Obviously Not Food.  Gently takes it to be polite, leaves it out in the yard.

Minx (Domestic Shorthair cat): Smelly Toy Is Hilarious, batted under the couch.

Tiger (Really Fat Domestic Shorthair cat):  Total disgust, hissing and sulking in the Prosciutto box.  Came out and ate it later anyway.

Wanda (corn snake) we didn’t expect her to be interested but she spent like three minutes licking it.

Sadie AKA Marquis De Sade (Hyacinth Macaw)  ignored bean in favor of dumping can on the floor, sticking head in can and screaming.  Did not attempt to bite, which is Very Nice for her.

Arwen (Australian Kelpie): ate bean, waited until humans were out of the room to consume rest of the can, got costco-sized can stuck on face and pooped green for three days.  Regets nothing.

Empanada/Anderson Cooper/#3 (Plymouth Hens): Excited screaming, kickboxing tournament over possession of beans/can.  #3 was ultimately victorious, becuase She is Fattest.

Big Angus (scottish highland cow, I know, ironic): very polite and delicate acceptance of beans for appx 1700 lbs of beef, will now run full-tilt across pasture to meet me, which scared the crap out of me tbh.

Will post further updates as I am allowed to try.
