A Visual Exploration of Child Marriage in India
Greetings, fellow explorers of knowledge. Nayakjii here, eager to walk you through a research poster project that delves into a deeply ingrained societal issue – child marriage in India. This journey transcends the boundaries of academia, weaving together research findings, illustrations, and stark facts to present a visual narrative that aims to ignite conversations and evoke change.
The canvas, made in pristine white, served as a symbolic representation of the innocence that should characterize childhood. Yet, within this purity, shades of red emerged – not as a mere design choice but as a visual metaphor for the harsh realities of child marriage. The black text, bold and unyielding, became the voice that echoed the urgency of addressing this deeply rooted concern.
At the heart of the project lay the central poster, a synthesis of the latest news and research. It sought to encapsulate the multifaceted nature of child marriage in India, providing a comprehensive overview of the issue. This poster was not a solitary entity but the epicenter from which five distinct themes would unfold.
The themes, each exploring a different facet of the child marriage narrative, served as portals into the lives of those affected. The exploration of innocence lost, chains breaking, silent screams, dreams fading, and bridges building became the thematic threads that wove a compelling story. These themes weren't chosen arbitrarily; they were carefully selected to depict the various dimensions and implications of child marriage.
As I delved into the research, facts sourced from reputable papers and sitelinks became the building blocks of the project. These were not mere statistics but the voices of young lives impacted by a practice that deprives them of their childhood. The formal critique sessions, a crucial checkpoint in the creative journey, offered invaluable insights that guided the refinement process, ensuring that the project was both impactful and respectful of the sensitive subject matter.
The power of the project lay in the illustrations – each stroke, each curve, a deliberate choice to convey the emotions, struggles, and hopes surrounding child marriage in India. The visual language spoke volumes, allowing the audience to connect on a visceral level with the human stories behind the statistics.
Presenting the collective narrative wasn't about showcasing posters; it was about inviting individuals into a shared experience. The visual journey aimed not only to inform but to stir empathy, understanding, and a collective sense of responsibility to address and dismantle the shadows that shroud the innocence of our children.
In conclusion, this research poster project is more than an academic endeavor; it's a call to action, an invitation to engage with a complex societal issue. Through the fusion of research, illustration, and thoughtful design, the project seeks to unveil the veil that conceals the reality of child marriage in India. May this visual exploration spark conversations, challenge perceptions, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue and efforts to create a society where every child can grow without the burden of premature unions.

Folk Fusion Wrap 2023: Exploring the Power of Music Through Interactive Design
Hey folks, back here again with some poha in hand ? get ready to add some flavour here and I'm thrilled to share a project that brought the power of folk music to life in an interactive and tech-savvy way. Enter the world of Folk Fusion Wrap 2023 – a poster that not only captures the essence of folk tunes but lets you create your own musical journey using Spotify codes.
Imagine a canvas painted in deep black, serving as the perfect backdrop for the vibrant explosion of colors and album covers. This was the visual playground for the Folk Fusion Wrap 2023, a project that aimed to blend tradition with the contemporary in a way that resonates with the tech-savvy youth.
The idea sparked from the Spotify Wrap trend of 2023. What if we could encapsulate the diverse power of folk music in an interactive poster, allowing people to not just see but feel the tunes? And so, the Folk Fusion Wrap was born.
The black background served as a canvas for a constellation of colorful elements – each representing a different facet of folk music. Intricate patterns and motifs borrowed from various folk traditions added a touch of authenticity, creating a visual feast for the eyes.
But the real magic lay in the Spotify codes strategically embedded throughout the poster. These weren't just random codes; they were gateways to a world of folk fusion. As you traced each code with your phone, it unlocked a song, carefully curated to showcase the diversity and power of folk music. From classical ragas to contemporary fusions, the playlist became a journey through time and tradition.
The album covers, a splash of color against the dark canvas, were a nod to the variety within the folk music genre. Each cover told a story, and together they formed a tapestry of sounds, echoing the rich cultural heritage embedded in folk tunes.
The interactive aspect of the poster was a hit among the young crowd. People eagerly scanned the codes, discovering new tracks and creating their own Folk Fusion Wrap playlists. It was more than a poster; it was an experience, a bridge between tradition and modernity, connecting the old tunes with the technology of today.
During the formal critique, the feedback centered on the seamless integration of the Spotify codes and the overall visual impact. Adjustments were made, colors refined, and the interactive poster evolved into a harmonious celebration of the power of folk music.
Presenting the poster to the audience was a moment of joy. Watching people engage, explore, and curate their playlists added a layer of depth to the project. It wasn't just about the poster anymore; it was a communal celebration of culture and music.
So, here's to the Folk Fusion Wrap 2023 – an exploration of the power of music through interactive design. Stay tuned for more adventures in the world of creativity, where every project is a journey waiting to unfold. Until next time, keep dancing to the tunes of your own Folk Fusion Wrap!

The Resonance of Power: A Typographic Ode to Folk Music
Hey, it's Nayakjii, and today I'm excited to share my journey into the realm of typography with a project that's close to my heart – a typographic poster exploring the profound power of folk music. Picture this: a canvas drenched in black and white, with bold, solid black text that pulsates with the energy and rhythm of the folk tunes.
First off, let's talk about the color palette. Black and white, stark and powerful, creating a visual dichotomy that mirrors the essence of the theme. In the world of folk music, simplicity often holds the greatest strength, and this monochromatic scheme was the perfect way to convey the raw, unbridled power of the tunes.
The heart of the project lies in the Hindi Devanagri script – a script that breathes life into the very soul of the folk melodies. Each curve and line was carefully manipulated using vectorization techniques in Illustrator, a dance of digital precision that echoed the rhythmic beats of folk music. The result? Text that wasn't just words on paper but a visual symphony, a testament to the rich cultural heritage embedded in every letter.
The choice of bold, solid black text was intentional. It wasn't just about the words; it was about the impact, the weight of every note and every lyric. The black exuded power, a commanding presence that demanded attention and respect for the traditional melodies woven into the fabric of our culture.
As I delved deeper into the vectorization process, the curves of the letters began to mimic the undulating waves of sound waves – a visual representation of the way folk music transcends barriers, reaching deep into the hearts of those who listen. The fusion of technology and tradition became a metaphor for the harmonious coexistence of the old and the new.
The formal criticism session became a journey of refinement. Each suggestion and critique were notes in a melody, harmonizing to perfect the composition. Adjustments were made, curves fine-tuned, and the poster evolved into a visual narrative of the power that resides within the folk tunes.
Presenting the final poster was a moment of pride. The bold, black text commanded attention, drawing the viewer into the intricate dance of the Devanagri script. It wasn't just a poster; it was a celebration of the power embedded in our cultural roots, a reminder that folk music is a force to be reckoned with.
So, there you have it – my typographic exploration into the power of folk music. Stay tuned for more tales from the world of design, where every curve, every line, tells a story. Until next time, keep riding the waves of creativity, and as they say in Hindi, "कला का जादू है!" (Art is magic!) Cheers to the rhythmic magic of design!

Unveiling Niharika: A Splash of Blues & Dandelions
Hey there, it's Nayakjii, and I'm thrilled to take you on a journey through my latest artistic endeavor – the #KnowMyClassmate project. This time, the spotlight is on the incredible Niharika, a wonderful soul with roots deep in the rich culture of Kerala. Picture this: cool blue shades, delicate dandelions, and a splash of underwater wonders.
First things first, the color palette. Inspired by the serene blues of the Arabian Sea that hugs Kerala's coastline, I drenched the canvas in cool hues. From aquamarine to deep navy, each shade played its part in creating a calming backdrop that mirrors the tranquility of Niharika's spirit.
Now, let's talk dandelions. Niharika's love for these whimsical flowers became the focal point of the poster. Delicate, airy seeds danced across the canvas, capturing the essence of her free-spirited personality. They weren't just decorations; they were a reflection of her desire to spread positivity and embrace the beauty of the fleeting moments.
Speaking of fleeting moments, Niharika's fondness for fishes found its way into the poster as well. Intricate fish silhouettes swam gracefully across the blue canvas, adding a touch of the mysterious underwater world to the overall composition. It was a nod to her love for aquatic life and a subtle reminder of the depth within her own character.
The formal criticism session was, as always, enlightening. Suggestions flowed in like a gentle stream, guiding me to refine certain elements and deepen the connection between the visual elements and Niharika's personality. It was a collaborative effort, and with each piece of feedback, the poster evolved into a true reflection of the vibrant soul it aimed to celebrate.
One of the standout features was the central illustration – a portrait of Niharika with dandelions around. Her eyes sparkled with a blend of curiosity and calm, capturing the dichotomy of her personality. The background subtly incorporated elements of her interests – art, music, and, of course, the gentle sway of dandelions and fishes.
Presenting the poster to Niharika was a moment to cherish. The blues, the dandelions, and the underwater wonders resonated with her, creating a connection that transcended the canvas. It wasn't just a poster; it was a celebration of her uniqueness and a token of appreciation for the intricate tapestry she weaves into our class.
Stay tuned for more tales from the #KnowMyClassmate project, where we unravel the stories behind the faces that make our creative journey so extraordinary. Until next time, keep riding the waves of creativity, and as they say in Malayalam, "ജീവന് മേലെ തുരങ്കിയോ?" (Is life going well?) Cheers to the artistic symphony of our class!

yeh kya hai? I had the same question running in my mind, but like every close person in life you have to trust their existence, So these are mind maps and like every trustworthy person, I trusted these mind maps to be beneficial later on. Now I understand why I need them so much, So as we're learning Poster Design, some major things to look at are Context, Content, and concept. So when we're about to make a Concept for a Poster, We need to have both content and context in line as well. However, I'm a little late on making the concept for my own poster, but I know I'll get a breakthrough in it very soon. btw Mindmaps are like a friend circle , we make new connections at every point in life.

Hi people, It's Vinayak aka Nayakjii here, with my first introductory blog post, this is my class and the one standing with a poster in the first image is our faculty, Mrs. Milly Singh, to give context I may tell you that this is a graphic design class and we're working on poster design, so we were paired with our classmates and were told to make a poster that speaks about the person and his/her personality. so our first drafts are hanging on the board as seen in the 1st image and every poster was formally criticized to know the design mistakes. Which I find an interesting thing to do coz that's what makes you more concerned about design and planning in the making process. The next picture is about an assignment to brainstorm and mind map words which I'll tell you more about in the next blogpost. Stay tuned and life meh thoda jeeravan daalo yrrrrrrr...... btw one of my fav lines from the poster exercise is "You never get attached to your first idea, rip off and explore !" following which I tore my poster in pieces and eventually burned up in a campfire night.
