A chill runs down Akira's spine that's stopped by a palm pushing against the base. A number of emotions run through her-- rage, fear, and confusion among them-- but they are useless before absolute domination.

Eto's body preses against hers, both of them naked and raw and humiliated. Fingers like tendrils press into Akira's arms and travel hard enough to leave marks, before trapping her own in them.

"Do you hate me?" come the words.

"With all my heart," Akira manages, defiance surging forward.

"Good." Lips like ice caress her cheek, then her jaw, then the crook of her neck. "Means I did my job. You, too, know how it feels losing a parent, and so pointlessly."

Akira should be stopping her, but she can't. Eto is too powerful, too close to make any difference. So she doesn't stop her. She doesn't struggle.

Her leg wraps around Eto's waist.

Her hand presses against Eto's head.

Her body breaks on Eto's fingers.

And her mind remembers the pleasured scars in the morning.

i think it's really fun when a rly specific trope is super popular in one particular medium but in other ones it's just totally unheard of. it's the time knife. visual novel players are suuuuper used to death games but many others encountered them for the first time in squid games. the other day my mom showed me all excited the summary of a super original novel she found and it was about a girl who got reincarnated as the main character in her favorite fantasy book
