RYAN ROSS STARMAKER THINGS

SO APPARENTLY STARMAKER HAS A 2 YEAR OLD TRAILER

DO NOT WORRY.

We have the fact Ryan is now acting in this film from a PRIMARY SOURCE (STRAIGHT FROM THE DIRECTOR HIMSELF.) Plus even big Hollywood movies go through big reshoots and rewrites. Everything is okay.

With that settled. Let’s take a look at the description of the video and see what the movie is about. Note that there is more here about Glitter World Inc (GWI) as a company and stuff in the description. But this is the most important part which denotes the plot:

The action follows the dynamics and heartbreak of the movie making process while meandering and negotiating the wealth, color and desperate underbelly that is day-to-day L.A. life. It’s pretty much sparkle and shine “business as usual” until a dusty, almost forgotten LAPD cold case homicide begins to surface and show its gritty teeth.

Even under skies so blue, once the dice have left your hand, you have to roll with the numbers.

Looking through the trailer it seems to go through the backstory of each character (I’d type everything out but that takes way too long and I encourage you to watch for yourself.)

Intriguingly only Lindsey Plake has been tagged of recent days that comes from the cast list. No one else. Blake Dahlstrom was tagged in earlier photos (circa 2013/14) But assuming this redo has been in production since around/before the beginning of December 2016. She nor any other of the cast listed are returning in recent photos this doesn’t mean Blake isn’t in it. It just means she’s not filming anymore. EDIT: SHE’S IN IT (I researched while writing this too and she’s most likely in the film.)

You may be asking why did I pick the beginning of December as a loose timeframe?

Why would he have scab/imitation blood? The homicide subplot of Starmaker.

Of course it’s probably been in production before then, but this is a definite.

This doesn’t mean Ryan will die in the movie, he probably just wanted to make a vampire joke being the dork that he is.

So now we have this information down (finally answers to all my questions to do with that video, god it piqued my curiosity so much.) Let’s dig a little deeper.

Daniel (the director of Starmaker) has been known to tag whoever he’s working with on a production (which is how many of us were aware of Ryan’s executive production in This in the first place.)

He’s been tagging two more people in the recent photo’s denoting Starmaker. One is @ art_byington on instagram also if you thought Ryan was a hermit meet Daniel Adam’s friends (I swear I can barely dig up shit on them.) Here’s his facebook. It contains nothing. There’s numerous things on Google credited TO an Art Byington but since I can’t tell if it’s this guy or not I’d rather not factor it into anything. Feel free to look it up on your own if you wish.

The second is a man by the name of William Piotrowski . Looking at his website, he is a composer. He also posted this video 6 weeks ago aND TRUST ME THAT’S RYAN’S EQUIPMENT. (Here’s the proof.) This man was the digital imaging technican on This. That means he helped shape the colours and brightness of the visuals of this project. Which doesn’t rule him out of working with Ryan or alone on the soundtrack of Starmaker. It just proves he does more than that.

Now, on that instagram video I linked of his. There’s an interesting comment from a man called Vincent Baldino. Let’s see it:

I DEFINITELY think he’s talking about Ryan Ross here. Let’s list why.

1. The video he commented on was taken 6 weeks ago which lines up with the early December guess (though that week does fall on the last week of November but it’s natural that filming was going on then.)

2. Taking a look at his youtube. He’s filmed a few short videos. Taking a look at this video we can see he likes to write music too. On his Youtube he’s also liked an LA producer stream. So he’s clearly interested in that. Taking a look at his Linkedin:

I’m a highly motivated, people person, effective communicator, responsible and punctual person. I enjoy song writing, arranging, production and engineering, managing, and creating marketing and advertising campaigns for artist and business entrepreneurs. I am passionate about music art and communication and expression

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Recording Arts Technology/Technician from Full Sail University.

3. In his current job as an assistant he denotes that he has to film A-List celebrities and products. So he’s clearly interested in doing that too. His Instagram has extremely artsy shoots (including many of him with various cameras.) So it’s not a huge step for this to be his big break in filming.

So we now know a large portion of the crew producing the film right now.

But what about the plot of Starmaker?

We might be quick to assume Ryan will now play Mannish Boy (becuase holy shit is that a striking resemblance) and I’d like to bring your attention to this

Looking at this photo for a second we have Daniel wearing his cap backwards to Ryan’s right. We can assume Vincent is behind the camera. The actress in this photo isn’t Lindsay it’s Blake Dahlstrom who plays Gena (the hair is the same.) Finally, taking a look at Ryan his hair is much shorter than in our most recent 2017 photos. In fact it matches his late 2015/early 2016 hair which overlaps with when Blake was tagged in GWI photos so to conclude we can assume production on this movie has been going for about a year now.

AS OF 7/1/17 WE NOW KNOW PRODUCTION HAS JUST STARTED

Now I did comment on one of Daniel’s photo’s

So I HOPE he get’s back to me some time tomorrow so we can get an absolute yes or no to Ryan playing Mannish boy but he may choose to not tell me so we all have to wait and see and pray.

TO SUMMARISE

- Production on the reshoot of Starmaker has been going on for at least 1 year. W R O N G

- Daniel Adams will direct

- Vincent Baldino will shoot

- William Piotrowski will either help with the post production visuals or the soundtrack

- Ryan Ross, Lindsay Plake and Blake Dahlstrom will be starring.

- The homicide part of the plot is definitely still in Starmaker
