red   gives   a   concerned   glance   at   that  ,   not   all   too   fond   of   the   idea   of   guzma   crying   over   his   absence  .   supposed   that   simply   meant   he   had   to   make   up   for   all   that   time   alone  .

happy   to   abide   to   guzma’s   wishes   red   nears   to   swoop   his   partner   off   his   feet  ,   smiling   in   amusement   before   placing   a   sweet   and   chaste   kiss   upon   his   lips   then   striding   off   with   purpose ― he   knew   exactly   where   to   go  .

red   was   happy   to   carry   guzma   all   the   way   out   of   po   town   and   to   the   secluded   little   thinking   space   guzma   had   for   himself   hidden   within   overgrown   nature  .   he’d   missed   this   place   almost   as   much   as   he   had   guzma’s   side   and   assumed   this   would   be   a   comforting   place   for   the   other   to   unwind   and   let   loose   as   he   paid   back   his   absence   in   kisses  .

he found a shirt but he is yet to put on some pants right now but is not like he needed them right now anyways. he can go whatever he liked inside his house. hell, he could walk around naked if he wanted but for arthur’s sanity he won’t. putting on a shirt he gazes back at the embarrassed male. “my place. you slept for like almost a week. thought you died on me.” he said and of course he must be hungry too.

“you really were tired huh? anyways, you hungry?” before he leaves the room he points at the bathroom door behind him. “i can share a shirt and underwear.” pants? probably not, his shirts could cover arthur’s whole body since he is smaller than him so that’s enough. “you should shower first. gonna make something to eat so take as much time as you need.” he then leaves the room.

❝    ―  a   week  ? !     ❞     arthur   yelped  ,   voice   cracking   just   slightly   as   head   whipped   back   around  .   that   really   wasn’t   good  !   there   was   no   point   in   worrying   about   it   now   however  ,   having   to   once   again   play   catch   up   to   register   what   the   other   was   telling   him  .    ❝    uh  ...   y―yeah  ,   starving  .     ❞

with   cheeks   slightly   pink   arthur   lifts   an   arm   to   give   an   experimental   whiff   to   his   armpit  ,   immediately   leaning   away   and   sticking   yellow   tongue   out   in   disgust  .   ew  ,   gross  !   yeah  ― he   definitely   needed   a   shower  .   shifting   to   his   feet   arthur   decided   to   accept   laxus’   offer   and   rummaged   around   for   a   shirt   and   some   boxers   before   heading   into   the   shower   and   cleaning   up  ,   taking   care   to   remove   his   prosthetic   beforehand  .   a   good   half   hour   later   the   mechanic   finally   emerged   from   laxus’   bedroom   dressed   in   an   extremely   oversized   t―shirt   that   went   down   to   his   knees   (  he   was   mildly   embarrassed   about   it  )     ❝    h―hey   um  ,   thanks   for   taking   care   of   me   for   all   that   time  ,   i   hope   you   had   another   bed   to   sleep   in   and   i   didn’t   just   hog   yours   for   the   good   half   of   a   week ― i   don’t   think   i   ever   introduced   myself  ;   i’m   arthur  .     ❞

he placed arthur in the bed after laxus took him to his place that wasn’t too far and he felt bad for resorting to this but he had to make the guy rest somehow. hours passed and he is yet to wake up but then those hours turned days and laxus was somewhat worried. how long did he stayed up without sleeping? his body was really exhausted that’s for sure. then he heard some grumbling and he could guess he was now waking up.

“finally up?” he says from the other side of the room. it seems arthur woke up in the morning and as soon as laxus stepped out of the bathroom after a shower.

arthur’s   mind   and   body   was   a   groggy  ,   stiff   mess   as   he   awoke   from   his   extended   rest  ,   groaning   softly   while   slowly   sitting   up   and   sifting   a   hand   back   through   messed   up   hair  .    ❝    mmn  ...  ?     ❞    head   raised   and   eyes   blinked   a   couple   times   as   he   slowly   came   to  ,   eventually   registering   who   was   talking   to   him   and   what   was   happening  .

❝    w―whoa  !     ❞     and   just   like   that   head   was   turned   away  ,   quickly   averting   his   eyes   for   laxus’   privacy   and   his   own   embarrassments   sake  .    ❝    i  ...   guess   so  .     ❞    but   when   had   he   fallen   asleep   to   begin   with  ?     ❝    where   are   we  ?     ❞
