I was just gonna put it in comments but then I decided to just do all of my charr who are still distinctly Legion.

Vygait Glorybender - Glory Warband

She took 'bender' when she metaphorically (and literally) resurrected herself. While there's an argument to be made that she's ignoring fate, despite it being the reason she's still 'alive', and simply bending the course of her life in the directions she wants it to go in... The reality behind her choosing "bender" was simply a sort of a 'joke' about how she didn't break when she was a prisoner.

When she was still of Iron, she was Keenstride of the Stride warband. She had chosen 'Keen' because of her, well, keen sense of sight. Often the first to notice issues or enemies. Not that that helped her when her 'band was captured.

Aegror Blightsinger - Singer Warband

They aren't part of the Legions anymore, due to being exiled, but they still hold deep loyalty to their 'band, and will carry that loyalty until they die. 'Blight' was the easy choice for them, seeing as they were certain of their path of being a combat medic pretty much from their first day in the fahrar. They workshopped with the rest of their 'band on the name and settled on 'Blight' because, in true Blood fashion, they all agreed that whatever they chose it needed to be cool and tough sounding.

Kinetekos Ghostroar - Ghost Warband

Her being a necromancer would have happened regardless of what her 'band name was. 'Roar' was another easy choice because she had a "good, proper Blood soldier's voice". Which is to say she's never been afraid of tearing someone a new one if they're being a damn idiot. Her combat style aligning most closely with Reaper was completely coincidental.

James Voidheart - Heart Warband

'Void' wasn't always his chosen name. He chose it in the aftermath of the rest of his 'band being killed in the Brand. Whatever he was before didn't matter anymore. The only thing that mattered was finding a way to resurrect his family. Despite being presumed dead by the Legions, he kept his warband name in memory of them. He was a shell of himself without them. Talk about survivor's guilt.

Prior to the Heart Warband's demise, he was Mistheart. 'Mist' because he was very stereotypically Ash - very good at being places and not being noticed.

Why did your Charr choose the surname they have? What was the reason? Was it given to them by their warband instead?

Leo was part of the Echo Warband and was given the word "Watcher" due to always being seen observing the Ascalonian ghosts, and his tendency to patiently stratageize rather than rush ahead.

It's CRAZY how people are so adamant on hating on folk who use the term 'transspecies' on themselves. Like, for one, this term wasn't made to mock or shame trans individuals, nor is its usage. You all realize most folk who use this term are in fact trans themselves, right?

"But the term species dysphoria mocks trans folk!" My littermate in therianthropy no the fuck it does not. There's more types of dysphoria than just gender dysphoria. Also, 90% of therians/otherkin use this term anyways. Why is it suddenly harmful when someone who's transspecies uses it?

"But they make us look bad!!" I hate to break it to you, but literally anti-kin will hate us regardless. Even if you're the goodest of boys, even if you kiss their asses n sing them high praise, they will still hate us. Division between our community is what they want. Divided we fall. They're banking on you turning against you're own in the hopes that they're able to eradicate us.

And dont even pull the bullshit ableist ass phrase "Well THEY believe they're animals and I DONT so," because one, yes the fuck you do that's what the term "otherkin" literally means and two, you're REALLY showing your ass by openly admitting you view people with delusions and mentally illnesses as lesser than you. Congratulations! You are ableist!

It's fine to not like the term personally but you do not get to growl n snap at folks who use it. You do not dictate a person's identity. Mind your business

my official stance is a pregnancy is whatever the pregnant person wants it to be. if it’s a 4 week old clump of cells and they want to call it a baby it’s a baby. if they're 20 weeks and they want to call it a parasite it’s a parasite. if they're 39 weeks and call it a fetus it’s a fetus. “why are you so sad about miscarrying at 6 weeks it was literally just an embryo” because that was their baby. “how can you get an abortion at three months” because that wasn’t a baby. hope that helps.

UPDATE 4/11/2023:

I swapped out the colloidal silver nasal spray info for xylitol nasal spray info. I originally included colloidal silver spray because of the linked study and recommendation from RTHM, but I don't want to be pointing people toward something with notable health risks. Xylitol spray (Xlear) is also cheaper and more widely available!
