Why This Blog Doesn’t Have New Updates

Hi everybody,

Since I’ve been reblogging things from here lately I thought I should explain a couple of things. 

This was formerly a community blog created to reblog Multiamory March works. You can check out the Fanlore page for the event if you’d like to see some of its history. In 2016 I was able to reblog a lot of things from there here, and I have kept this community up as an archive.

I’m not really updating it anymore, partially because I have a full-time job that I work 50+ hours a week in, more when I’m on call. Also, if I updated it again I’d want to implement a more complete tagging system, and there are hundreds of posts here apparently that were not fully tagged. It would take hours to go back and retag them all. Also I’m currently helping to moderate @polyamships and have received permission from my co-mod to archive older works from this blog on that one. That’s been in progress for quite some time, as, again, hundreds of posts to go through, add to the drafts, find proper tags for and so forth. I’m in the final push of that, mostly because the sooner it’s finished the sooner the other blog can reblog new, fresh content for polyamorous ships. (They’re all scheduled at this point, I think between now and June 4th. That said they were reblogged there in no particular order, so if you want to see some of the posts in the order they were originally posted here, feel free to check out the archives here instead.)

So yes, unless I either find a really good way to tag a lot of old posts in a hurry or find something else to do with this blog, it’s not going to be updated. I just don’t have time to moderate something like this by myself anymore.

I commissioned @kerugiall to draw Kim/Jean/Harry in a hopeful endgame that I hope for them (and I intend to write about sometime soon!!!)

I envisioned this as a “tired Jean flops down on the bed after work, Harry immediately spies an opportunity for Nap, and Jean calls Kim over just so that he isn’t overworking himself with the burnout” (birds of a feather, all of them). 

I have Thoughts about the three of them as a ship and their living dynamic, but I’ll get into that in my writing later <3 for now. Cozy.

I’m on some stupid OT3 bullshit but…. listen. Jean and Harry keeping up with every new installment of Dick Mullen after Harry starts reading them after his memory loss, at first as a joke and then they earnestly discuss it like it’s the next episode of Riverdale  or some shit, like “what a dumb book series what WILL they do next”. Kim has tried and is like “I literally do not know what you two see in this but I support you having fun I GUESS”

Meanwhile art cop Harry cannot relate to Kim’s love of Tiptop and just zones the fuck out when Kim and Jean are comparing notes on the latest race, will come in while they are listening to the radio broadcasts about it like “are ya winning son”

So.

Instead of deleting this item or attempting to try to transfer it - which is honestly not very easy to do as it turns out - I’ve renamed this account to multiamory-fanworks and will still use it to reblog poly fandom content that I like.

The old name should be available in 24 hours if I understood correctly and anyone who wants to pick it up is free to do so. I just don’t have time to dedicate a blog to that level anymore. Sorry, folks. I might still participate a bit; we’ll have to see.
