the images they were made to be sized to like 8.5 inches length by 5.5 inches width aka a letter sized computer page (11 by 8.5 inches) folded in half landscape

then i take the images put them on a word doc with a .25 inches margin all around n size them to 8 inches length n the width auto sizes to 5.18 inches and i put two on a page and print it like tht

but before we continue with that here's the images of that and you can put these in a word doc with 0 margins all around and size it to 8.5 by 11 inches and it should work good

now the placement of the images on the page so i did it with the mind of folding the pages in half in signatures (groups of pages) and then sewing them in the center (like a pamphlet stitch) and stitching them in an accordion spine notebook i made (more on tht later) and i printed the pages 2 sided which means for your first and all odd pages you have to place the image you want first as the second image on the page. so for example when folded quarterly is the first page of the first signature since it's printed 2 sided the second page with be the monthly on the second page the third page will be the second monthly on the second page and the final page will be the first monthly on the first page with quarterly.

but tht's simple the signature is just one two sided page bc i'm doing it quarterly but if you were printing for the entire year at once you could for instance put 2 quarterly on one page and print tht two sided and tht's one signature. and then print 3 2 sided pages of the montly with 2 on one page and make tht a separate signature.

but a signature typically has like 3-5 sheets of paper so you cld also plan it out to print one quarterly before 3 monthlies so you will use 4 sheets of paper the first one will be a monthly and a quarterly 2 sided with two monthlies. second page will be two monthlies and the 2 sided back will be a monthly and a quarterly. and then you do a 2nd cope of both of those pages and you can have a whole year signature with your quarterlies and monthlies "inter mixed". and that example should help you understand how to customize your placements to print it how you want.

the pages are pretty self explanatory the only two things are the tasks and task details you print one task n task details with the 2 task details 2 sided and then you print 2 more pages of the task details 2 sided to make a 3 sheets signature.

the to do graph i printed 2 sided and made it a one page signature. it's to track how many to dos you did every day to help you keep a streak and motivated. you could also edit the weekly and daily to be together but for me i just want each signature to be the different groups of pages.

i'm not gonna go too much into how to make the accordion spine rn (if you want more details you can ask) bc you can search tht up n find the proper book binding techniques but one thing i will mention is i punched two tiny holes to the top and buttom straight thru the spine n tied two ribbons into bows to keep the accordion more shut

the pics arent super clear bc this was still my 2nd "prototype" and i corrected the errors to create the pics to share but i wont reprint until i need more paper

Spaghettieis is a German ice cream made to look like a plate of spaghetti. In the dish, vanilla ice cream is extruded through a modified Spätzle press or potato ricer, giving it the appearance of spaghetti. i think the near-extinction of people making fun, deep and/or unique interactive text-based browser games, projects and stories is catastrophic to the internet. i'm talking pre-itch.io era, nothing against it.

there are a lot of fun ones listed here and here but for the most part, they were made years ago and are now a dying breed. i get why. there's no money in it. factoring in the cost of web hosting and servers, it probably costs money. it's just sad that it's a dying art form.

Arigatō & obrigado

Networking/Knowing A Guy: A Guide

This is the autism website. Now, as an extension of the power of love and friendship, there are few things more useful than Knowing A Guy. Knowing A Guy means you have a support network. Knowing a plumber, or a tax accountant, or just that one dude that's really fucking good at finding the information you need when you're really overwhelmed, can be the difference between being able to pay rent and having a fun party with friends to fix your shit.

How does one end up Knowing A Guy? It's a skill you can develop called Networking and it is one of the foundations of society. Unfortunately making those connections with people is fucking hard and nobody makes a tutorial for it. So, here you go:

Great news! Everyone is useful in some form or fashion - including you! When given the opportunity to learn about someone, do it! Extroversion does not come naturally to some people and that's okay. Just take whatever falls in your lap.

Types of usefulness: trade skills, connections of their own, personality you jive with, pleasant to talk to, niche interest in shared hobby, security - the list is pretty much endless. I know a guy that lives in the metro area - no job, no major hobbies, inoffensively annoying to me personally, kinda ignorant, not attractive to me, but you know what? He knows how the fuck to get around the city by foot. My rural-raised ass APPRECIATES the guide.

Remember important information: general personality, background, skillset, likes and dislikes. You can find this information by making smalltalk about their life. There is no such thing as pointless conversation. (Yes, even the annoying smalltalk)

The more people you know, the higher the likelihood that one of them will be useful in a given situation - or will know someone who is.

It is overwhelming. In a given clique/community/workspace/whatever, there is A Guy Who Knows The Other Guys. This Guy is a shortcut. Find them. They're often elderly, extroverted, a little bit annoying, a secretary or in some otherwise forward-facing position. Look for people that are gossipy/talk about other people a lot but not in negative ways. If they constantly talk shit, they'll talk shit about you too. They're still useful but be careful with the information you share

If you have low self esteem, you're going to feel like you're using people. You're not. That's the devil talking. People like feeling valued and the connections you are making are the threads holding community together. Recognize people for their talents. It's only a problem when you're taking advantage of people

So: don't feel scummy about it. You're an animal. You have to claw out your right to survive and people will respect you more for it.

Luckily mutualism is the name of the game in the animal kingdom. Offer something back. The foundation of a Know A Guy relationship is Mutual Benefit

Sometimes that Mutual Benefit is just spreading news of the The Guy far and wide. My plumber friend is my actual friend and I love her to death, but I'm maintaining our backscratch relationship by pimping out her plumbing business to anyone that'll listen

Food is a good Mutual Benefit. People across cultures for all of human history have bonded over food. I have good success asking people for a favor and then offering to buy them lunch in return **

General compensation is also good. Offer a service in return and always do your best to offer financial compensation as appropriate. Having your plumber friend take a look at your drain: doable with a case of beer. Having your plumber friend redo the pipes in your entire house? You need to pay for that.

Being transactional is not necessarily a bad thing. I would advise against keeping an itemized list of things owed, but fish don't seek out cleaner shrimp just because they enjoy their company. Everyone gets something

Unfortunately being extroverted and generally personable is a huge benefit here, but that's the value of the Guy That Knows A Guy. There's someone out there that has consolidated All The Guys so you don't have to be the local expert. Always remember nobody can do everything and you don't need to master every skill

* This is the foundation of a functioning community. I have many acquaintances that I find incredibly annoying. They include doctors, welders, artists, social workers, lawyers, construction crew and random fuckers at the grocery store. I do not hang out with them. I do not have to in order to maintain a civil Know A Guy relationship. I can drop them useful tidbits and fuck right off so I don't have to spend any more time than necessary with them

this messed up vintage cat sewing pattern has tormented me since i saw it & like some other folks have done in that post - i tried my hand at tweaking the pattern to resemble the illustration (and my personal tastes) a little more. i've ended up with this, which i have only tested at a small scale and not this final version exactly (where i have done such things as further widening the cheeks and finalizing the leg shapes.) i bestow it upon you nice folks now 👐

Find a library system in the United States or anywhere else that lets you do online registration. Sign up using addresses that is located where the library system is located. You can look up places on Zillow. There's an American phone number generator somewhere on the internet. Generate it and use it when the form ask for a telephone number. Remember the last four digit though because sometimes they use it as a pin number.

this shit owns it's just a number go up idle game except the idle mechanic comes from you writing JavaScript to automate tasks it seems like the end goal of the game is to perfectly optimize against this little arbitrary system they've created. There's not any plot to speak of so far but even though nothing is happening people send you messages through the computer telling you to trust no one as they all have ulterior motives. Very relatable.
