It had been hours since she found the man in the ice, since she had pried him from his grave.  She wasn’t sure if she expected him to wake or not, but an excitement she hadn’t really felt before rose in her chest as she finally heard the heart beat resume.  He was indeed alive.

She sat with him as his body temperature returned to normal, staring at him for several long moments, watching his eyes flutter.  “Easy.  You might be in shock.”  The waters of this medical falls should be enough to ease him back to health, but she needed to make sure he wouldn’t freak out and try to run.  The other Amazons wouldn’t take too kindly to that.

Steve came to, attempting to sit up before he felt himself being held down by ... a woman? Taking a look around from where he laid, he was confused. Where was he? When was he? Everything looked... different. “Um... Hi?” He asked, confused, looking up at the woman.

“Uh, what’s going on?” He asked, looking up at her as he slowly sat up after a while. “Who are you?” He had so many questions, but he stopped himself from asking them all at once. After all, this woman looked just as confused as him.
