the package doesn't stay balanced for more than .27 seconds. "kuroba..." somehow it always catches him off guard. not kuroba remembering his birthday - he's certain the other has more information on him than the government does - but getting him a gift. and one he can't even refuse, considering the actual intended recipient of the treats and toys. so instead of platitudes and 'you shouldn't have', he simply nods to the magician, smile small but genuine as he tucks the present into his bag.
