Heyo, so offloader jailbreaky apps will do this like altstore and qooapp and just grabbing the apk file from a hosting site will do the same as it can't connect to the app store's services to complete transactions. There are some games where you have to install them this way and they tell you to and their in-app purchases work as they use different services to give you goods eg. nu-carnival. If you don't care for/want in-app purchases this is always a good way to get hold of an app. However, getting getting these games via the google play store and ios' app store is suprisingly easy and should fix in-app purchasing issues and I leave a guide to do this below. I will try and make this guide as easy to follow as possible, apologies if some things are hard to follow, I have a migraine as i'm currently writing this and thinking clearly is not with me rn. Anyways; FOR ANYONE WHO ALREADY HAS LE INSTALLED VIA THIS METHOD LINK YOUR GAME TO TWITTER/X FOR AS LITTLE CONFLICTION AS POSSIBLE AND YOU CAN RE-SIGN IN ONCE YOU HAVE THE GAME INSTALLED VIA PLAY STORE. TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL INSTALLATION INSTALLED UNTIL YOU GET THE APP STORE'S VERSION INSTALLED AND LOGGED IN THAT WAY YOU DON'T RISK LOSING DATA!!

Android

1. make a throwaway gmail account USE A VPN SET TO JAPAN WHILST DOING THIS AS GOOGLE NO LONGER LETS YOU SET YOUR COUNTRY MANUALLY!!!!! I recommend using Tunnelbear as this has a good free service that will last long enough for you to set this up with. -When you start setting up this email make sure you have the vpn turned on and set to Japan otherwise the email is obsolete as you can't change your region until a year passes; very annoying, thank you google 2. Add your throwaway email to google play store WHILST THE VPN IS ON and stay signed in with this until you see that your Google Play has switched over to JP's , easy way to tell is if any of the banners have kanji ect on them. Here's an example of what I mean;

3. download Live Emotion YOU CAN NOW TURN OFF YOUR VPN IT IS NO LONGER NEEDED!! - If you just search Live Emotion it will pop up as the first result, if it does not you have either messed up step one and your email is not set to Japan or you did not keep your vpn on whilst adding it to google play, new email is now needed. 4. sign in to your utapri acc or make one

TOP IS TO START OVER AND BOTTOM IS TO CARRY ON WITH PREVIOUS SAVE DATA!! IF YOU PICK BOTTOM THIS SHOULD APPEAR, THIS IS WHERE THE X ACC LINKING COMES IN!!

IF YOU GET THIS SCREEN AT ALL OR FROM THE TOP OPTION IS IT TERMS OF SERVICE, MIDDLE IS TO LOOK AT TOS, LEFT IS DISAGREE AND RIGHT IS AGREE.

5. Setting up payment options -USE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT WITH WHATEVER CARD YOU WANT LINKED IN THAT AS PAYPAL BYPASSES REGION LOCKS BEST!! -go to google play store and then click the pfp option in the top right --go to payments and subcriptions then payment methods ---add a paypal and only that,, DO NOT ADD A BANK CARD OF ANY FORM THIS WILL REVERT YOU TO YOUR HOME COUNTRY AND YOU WILL BE STARTING FROM STEP 1!!!! 6. SUCCESS!! YOU CAN NOW THROW YOUR WAGE AT YOUR BEST BOY'S FACE!! :D

IOS/APPLE

THIS WILL RESET YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS AND MOST LIKELY CANCEL THEM!! BEFORE DOING THIS IT IS TO BE DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND IT PROBABLY WOULD BE BEST TO CANCEL AUTO-RENEWAL AND DO THIS AT THE END OF YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS SO YOU DON'T LOSE WHATEVER YOU'VE BOUGHT, IF YOU IGNORE THIS STEP AND THEN COME TO ME EXPLAINING YOUR SUBS ARE GONE, THIS WAS YOUR WARNING, I CAN'T HELP YOU!!

1. Go to the app store and click the pfp in the top right and click on your profile which is the bit with your full name and email on it -go to country/region and click Japan and follow the steps,, FOR THIS STEP CHOOSE NONE IN TERMS OF PAYMENT METHOD,, THIS WILL MAKE SENSE IN A MOMENT -- for addresses and phone numbers use THIS as all the details still work and this is what I use anyways 2. Install Live Emotion,, for setting up LE revert back to android step 4. 3. Go back to the app store once Live Emotion is installed fully and revert your app store back to your home region the same way you changed it in step 1. YOU CAN ADD YOUR BANK DETAILS BACK IN THIS STEP!! 4. SUCCESS!! YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO BUY THINGS NOW!! EDIT: TO UPDATE IOS' YOU CAN GO TO THE APP STORE, THEN TO THE PFP, THEN TO APPS, THEN CLICK UPDATE THERE AND IT SHOULD WORK. IF IT FAILS OR DOESN'T LET YOU YOU'LL HAVE TO SWITCH REGIONS TEMPORARILY AGAIN Hope this guide helped!! if anyone has any issues throw an ask my way and I will see what I can do.

There really are more and more examples of gen AI usage in Live Emotion the closer you look, and it seems to be happening more with recent releases, or at least it isnt being touched up by actual artists as much anymore.

Heres some examples from this street background showing some common signs of AI! For reference, this is the full background image (Thanks to the Wiki for the source!) And of course, who knows if Live Emotion is using AI, I certainly wouldnt accuse them of that would I??? Lets just use this completely normal background illustration to study what could be signs of AI shall we?

Might not look too bad at first glance right? But when you look closer:

Uneven, unconfident, wobbly awning with inconsistency shapes for the draped part (particularly on the left).

A shadow on the brickwall thats not coming of of any visible object! How interesting! (its not the telephone poll to the left of the image, and that is at a different depth). Fake shadows and varying light sources are a sign of AI.

Lots of inconsistent brick sizes (thats not how bricks work). Notice also how the bricks are coloured. Especially on the right most building, there is a patch that is much lighter/brighter red, but it doesn't line up with any of the actual bricks. Anything that has an extremely consistent, well known, real life pattern to it can be a clear sign of AI usage when its incorrect.

Every window has an exhaust fan (excuse my lack of architectural lingo) except the one on the top left. Also, notice the different heights and widths of the windows! Particularly the bottom left window is a lot smaller, and the bottom middle window has an odd little nubbin in the bottom left corner of the windowsill.

What unique architecture, look at how it simply melts into itself with a lovely little floating ball detail on the roof. The way that the lighter part of the exterior perfectly lines up with the vertical line of the same coloured building in the background also commonly happen when the AI gets confused and merges two shapes together. Shapes and colours blending into eachother with no clear definition or hierarchy of depth is a common sign of AI.

Lots of strange unexplainable particule effects/dots strewn about the image.

More incredible windows where the brick texture melds into the border of the window, and some of those borders are also blending into the surrounding brick. Areas with similar colours will often blend into eachother unnaturally with AI generates images.

Bonus round of spot the difference using the Skate event background pointed out by the wonderful people over at the Live Emotion Wiki! Dont you just love when the entire architecture of your city changes at night time?

Flick between the two images and see this magical city transform with the power of badly disguised Gen AI! (boooooo!! ewww!!!)

Any one of these things on their own is fine, especially coming from growing artists! But certainly not something you expect to see to this amount in a game thats making so much money from a big company right? And that's just a couple parts from two backgrounds!
