finally gave a design to an upcoming supporting character hehe.. of all the future supporting charas were gonna get very soon, ive been the most excited abt him

problem is.,.. while the purple ver is what fits my vision the most, the red one looks cooler bc spider liles CAN come in red. (the purple one i slapped on is artificially made) but i think the red makes him look too evil... and the purple gives fof a more mysterious feeling which is what i was going for. hes not evil btw

so basically since lianhua is hinted at to be a variant, he was gonna (temporarily :3c) evolve into smth new instead of a ludicolo but then just now on twitter i came across someones fakemon johtoian lombre evo that looks EXTREMELY SIMILAR to what i sketched up weeks ago and now im like. UM. SHIT. NOW I GOTTA REDO THE DESIGN OTHERWISE I FEEL LIKE A DIRTY COPYCAT (i know im technically not but the menchal iwwness makes me feel that way)

bur also i have NO IDEA how else i could execute the evo? so. Fuck
