great news—one of the books I’m using as a source for this research project started by just bashing all the previous books on this topic, which I love made me go fully academic sickos at the window haha yes yesss!!! over it. and NOW I’m like 2/3 of the way through this book and it just made a minor factual error which means I can start MY paper bashing on IT…love to continue the cycle of haterism

Lately I've been wanting to experiment with adding more texture to my art and this commission let me do just that! Bison are some of my favorite animals (both European and American varieties) so this was a pleasure to draw!

so if you have a bit of extra money to spare if you are able to donate the yəhaw̓ indigenous creative collective is very close to my heart, they are working on a land restoration project in seattle and recently acquired a house that they will be working on making habitable to become an intertribal arts center for indigenous artists. locals are also welcome to come volunteer for land work days
