  𖥨𑁍 ִֶָ A universe with a history

Una vez leí en un libro que cada ser representa una parte de la historia de este universo, mi universo está rodeado de historias que hace que cada uno se complemente distinto dándole un brillo y color distinto a este espacio que antes era vacío. Planetas, estrellas, constelaciones son muchos infinitos.

Iniciando por el más brillante, el sol, que toma forma del amor de mi vida. El sol nos da combustible que nos da la vida, nos brinda calidez, en dónde brilla para nosotros tal como esa persona lo hace conmigo. Es el punto inicial y final de mi universo. Siguiendo tenemos aún pequeño planeta Venus, mi hermano mayor Minnie se centra en este planeta, representa los valores puros, los sentimientos más nobles y lo que me parece más bello siendo un refugio para mí. Tal como Sirius, una estrella que se ve más brillante de muchos colores que puedes verla relucir en cualquier parte del mundo, ese es Dami, quién llegó a vida como un amigo pero se ha convertido en una de mis personas más brillantes con un firmamento de estrellas a su alrededor que brillando junto a él sin opacarlo teniéndolo siempre así, hermoso, brillante y de todos los colores del arcoiris.

Un planeta más allá tenemos a Saturno, mi mejor amigo Zagreus se centra en este lugar, decidido, maduro y responsable es la parte sensata de mi universo en dónde sabes que te recibirán con consejos, amor y una buena tendida de oreja cuando lo necesites. Veamos ahora una de mis constelaciones, Orión que tiene forma de un gran guerrero, mi mejor amigo Leön igual de brillante, igual de lejos con una historia oculta detrás de su brillante ser una de las constelaciones que más disfruto ver e investigar, hey pueden pasar años y aún tiene mucho que enseñar.

La osa mayor, mi papá con quién he pasado momentos duros pero tal como esa constelación está alejada de todos pero aún sigue brillando como la primera vez, perdiendo y encontrando su luz constantemente. La Cruz del Sur, el ancla de la galaxia, Levian el ancla de mi galaxia en dónde puedo ver cada vez que me sienta perdido se que estará ahí fácil de encontrar para que pueda saber a dónde me tengo que dirigir.

Una constelación enorme con muchas estrellas dentro de ella, esa es Hydra, representando a cada hermosa estrella que entra en mi vida. Cada persona nueva que llega, que logra posicionarse en mi firmamento está aquí. No es fácil de identificar a pesar de su gran magnitud, aunque suelen perder su brillo siguen siendo las más grandes de todo el universo, sigue siendo parte de mi universo infinito.

The Guardians | Vladimir Antaki

These places are sometimes magical, overloaded with elements, colours and stories, guarded by these characters who are sometimes touching, funny, quirky, and at times frightening. 

The photos that I take are often the only memory that this “Guardian” will have of him/herself in their daily environment. This photo can be the only visual record of the existence of this place, the only photographic memory. People pay less and less attention to their environment. They are always in a hurry, they don’t take the time to spend time with one another. Unfortunately, these places will one day no longer be around. This is one of the reasons that compelled me to want to document these “guardians”.

Death

Maura said, “That’s your card.”

On the card on the table was a black knight astride a white horse. The knight’s helmet was lifted so that it was obvious that his face was a bare skull dominated by eyeless sockets. The sun set beyond him, and below his horse’s hooves lay a corpse.

Outside the windows behind them, a breeze hissed audibly through the trees.

“Death.” Gansey read the bottom of the card. He didn’t sound surprised or alarmed. He just read the word like he would read eggs or Cincinnati.

“I thought that psychics didn’t predict death,” Adam said quietly. “I read that the Death card was only symbolic.”
