Roleplay thoughts:

I spend a lot of my time in the day as of late on Twitter pretending to be other people (about 5 hours in total). This isn’t healthy I know but at the moment my mental health is so bad that its the only thing I have the energy to do and the motiviation to keep up with. Just something about being another person for hours on end and playing out their life is so relieving and relaxing to know that if you don’t like how their life is going you can change it with ease. The big thing for me at the moment though is love.

My character Ciara has recently become a single ship account (with such a wonderful writer I know - much love #Red) and I find myself excited about spending time with her ship partner. Today they spent most the day in bed and then read books. Which is something I could easily do (on my own of course) but being able to describe the detailed intimate moments they have (such as brushing hair out of each others eyes, tracing circles on the back of the others hand etc) made me feel a sense of self progress. I know im not in a state at the moment to be in a relationship as im even struggling to keep friendships working currently, but knowing that I have an escape to a mind which is more put together and has a purpose and devotion to another gives me a reason to wake up in the morning and log on. If I can’t handle love at the moment, its good to be in the mindset of someone who could. 

Moral of the rant: Ciara deserves a lot of love and I need to get out the house more.
