Alright, so before anyone sees the blog name and thinks I might have abandoned this one, I didn’t.

I’m moving it over to a new blog.  Here’s the link, however nothing is set up yet, though if someone who is familiar with a muse wants to request a starter with them, that will determine who I work on first so I can get that starter out.

i.e. If you wanted to request a starter with, say, Tiras, even though he’s further down on the muse list, I’d work on his character page so I could open him up for threads first.

There are 30+ muses to choose from, and if you’re unsure about any of them, you can look at the old character list by adding -archive to the end of my username in the URL since none of my old links work anymore, and I really can’t be bothered to fix 50+ links, though many of the muses on the old character sheet still needed updating.  Those who are up to date will have an * by their name.

Alright, so I’m back, sort of, and I would like to RP on this blog (which I’m aware is basically asking for a miracle because almost no one ever wants to).  But, regardless, this blog is a complete and utter mess.  I don’t think I can promo it because half the character pages are perpetually under construction, the story summaries are not only out of date but also poorly done, and half the muses that exist aren’t even available because they’re still under construction.

So I see two options:

I can either scrub the slate clean, archive this blog make a new one, or

I can archive this blog and abandon it.  No more RPing or writing.

I would like to do the first one, however, I don’t want to make a whole new blog just to have no one be interested in RPing with it.

So, I guess what I’m saying is, like this, reply to it, or message me if you’d still be interested in RPing with these guys if I moved them.  If I get any interest, I’ll start over.  If I don’t, then I’ll take my cue to leave.

Devoted Canon

After Maeve murdered the cult that was turning Spirits into Artefacts, he was found by Sophie and taken to Darius.  He spent a lot of time with the Dae in the Bibliothecam and used the knowledge there to learn as much about Spirits as possible, prompting him to create the Spirit Council.

Blind Faith Excerpt

‘Every life is special from the moment it’s born.’ I’m sure that someone, somewhere, said this once.  But what about those of us who were born more special than others, who were born to be more than simply human?  I certainly never asked for such a thing and neither did she.  Being ‘special’ is a ‘curse’ disguised as a ‘blessing.’  It makes people expect things, so of course, when you fail to live up to their lofty expectations, expectations that no one could possibly live up to even if you are more ‘special’ than they are, you are cast out.  As the first one with the Sight born to my tiny village in over 100 years, I have learned the weight of these expectations and carried them for fourteen years.  It was after fourteen years that I met her, the demon sealed in the mountain, and these ‘expectations’ were lifted from me.

Devoted Canon

While much of the magic community holds a great amount of respect for Maeve, there is one subject upon which they usually disagree with him: the matter of Curses.

Maeve argues that Curse Spirits are simply tortured souls that need to be relieved of their burdens and insists that there is a way to cure them of their afflictions despite not having found that method.

Most of the magic community believes that Curses are simply incarnations of pure evil, that there is no consciousness aside from a drive to commit their terrible acts.

Devoted Canon

Maeve first started killing Magi and those related to the Artefact ritual when he was twenty.  He was offered to become the vessel for an altered Artefact, however when he learned of the method through which he would gain that power, he declined it.  Upon doing so he was strapped down and forced to watch as the group destroyed an Earth Spirit in an unsuccessful ritual.  It’s anguished cries drove him mad and the moment he was freed he stole a dagger off one of them and promptly slaughtered everyone present.

Even after he formed the Guardian Council, he still played a role in exterminating Spirit Hunters and Magi who gained their powers through this method rather than through proper contracts.
