Bark from the au my friends and I made ^w^

When the big flash of light went off, Bark knew almost immediately what was going on.

He grabbed Bean who was desperate to see the big BOOM, dragging him quickly to the closest vault for safety. For some time he was worried for their third member, unsure of where he was at the time of the blast. He crossed his fingers that the weasel found somewhere safe or that at least that the end was painless for him.

While in the vault, for so many years, Bark and his duck?? woodpecker??? green bird companion grew tired of the peaceful environment. They wanted action, fun, adventure! Just like the old days. So...they left the vault.

When they entered the waste land, they quickly became raiders. They stole yummy drinks, "Shinies", and plenty of bombs. This life was exciting for them! This life was great...except for the dangers. (and finding food).

Some lore for those interested..

Dr.Eggman made a new weapon...and when he had sonic in his base, exactly where he wanted; he set off his weapon. Destroying the peace of the world. Before Sonic could turn back around...before he could try to save everyone, He fell into a trap and was cryogenically frozen. The last thing he saw before the cold darkness was the mushroom cloud consuming the place he called home.

Tails was lucky enough to get his friends and himself into a shelter prepared for when Eggman attacked again. It was originally meant to protect citizens from robots and virus, however Amy and Tails were clever enough to make sure radiation couldn't get in.

Once the vaults were sealed Tails would spend the next 10 years waiting to hear from Sonic, who everyone thought was dead. He would become a scientist and monitor effects of vault life and the radiation levels on the surface. But as he grew up he only became more convinced that Sonic was still out there.

Until one day, on the 10 year anniversary of "Dooms day", Tails forced his way out of the vault and began his life as a waste lander to find Sonic.
