Guys aren't dumb, they just dont pick up on subtleties. You have to be very direct and tell them what you think and feel cause they won't be able to guess based on context clues. They also can't multitask so if they dont remember what you said when you were talking to them as they were occupied in another way they arent gonna be able to recall the convo. Not like they are purposely ignoring you, we just think ddifferently . Im glad I date women

🏳️‍🌈 Before 1973, the American Psychiatric Association listed homosmexuality as a ‘mental illness.’ In December 1973, a vote was successfully held to remove it.

🗳️ Before 1974, there were no openly gay elected officials. That changed with Kathy Kozachenko, who became the first openly gay American elected to public office in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

🎖️ Before 2011, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” banned LGBTQ+ people from serving openly in the military.

💍 Before 2015, LGBTQ+ couples couldn’t get married in all 50 states. At the time, laws varied by state, and while many states allowed for civil unions for same-sex couples, it created a separate but equal standard.

💼 Before 2020, employers could legally discriminate against queer and trans employees. That is a self-fulfilling prophecy. No one wants to be with someone who thinks so little of themselves that they automatically assume their partner would rather be with one of their exes. Living in that negative head space just breeds more negativity.

Too bad I can't see the post because I'm no longer in the group but nah, if you don't find love early in life, you are hoping for a miracle that only grows by the year.

You are more likely to end up with a woman with a very different life, and probably with tons of people she wishes to get back to, and she probably will. Life isn't a fairytale. If you move too slow you will end up not getting it or finding an unsatisfying option. I'm not bitter, I'm reasonable. I know you can't ask for a 30 something to be completely unattached like me. People are scared of loneliness so they grow their roots everywhere. I've never had other option and can't be with someone who will probably have people they love more and could run to them in case they get tired of me. I can't let other women live their lives thinking they have time. They don't. You need to make their love story fast or they will become unrelatable in every aspect of their life. Having a relationship is not only about being loved but also being part of society. Unless she has a very good and close community, it's too hard to move along. I wish I heard that soon. As much as I wouldn't find a match anyway, at least I would prepare in other ways.
