hey van, I havent been on tumblr for a long while which means I also haven’t seen your art in a long while… so hiii! but also. WHAT IS THE DIVINE UTMV / AU?? Could I please be informed, it looks so cool but idk the context ;-;

sorry if there’s a post or something I didn’t see that explains it!

Me when someone asks me to talk about my silly AUs >:}

Divine AU is basically an alternative timeline of UTMV where Dream ate the golden apples (Nightmare still having ate the obsidian ones) and became Divine, a god-like being who's job is to oversee all the positivity in the world and keep things balanced

At first he was happy to do his part, but after years of shallow relationships and barely any genuine connections with the people he protects, he became numb to his role. He wasn't really a god but due to his appearance people treated him like one and acted like he was something to be worshiped, which in his eyes wasn't the case

He did eventually found the Stars but they're not as tightly knit as the main TL. Ink doesn't act much different but Swap and Cross are almost constantly making sure Divine doesn't work himself to death, reminding him to take care of himself which usually goes in one ear and right out the other

His relationship with his brother is nonexistent, he believes Nightmare died centuries ago and that the person hes fighting for balance with all the time is just a parasite. This and all the numbness builds up and culminates in Divine being Nightmare's demise, which sends Divine into a pained spiral and The Bad Sanses into a vengeful fit

Swap and Cross still try to help him but he lashes out, taking out Swap and leaving Cross and Ink injured, afterwards Divine goes after his alternative self because in his eyes, if he can't have a happy ending neither can other versions of himself

The Divine AU Bad Sanses meet up with the other Bad Sanses and warn Nightmare about what's going on, which results in him taking Dream in for safety and all the Divine AU Sanses team up to take him down

It ends with Divine losing his wings and them all having to build the multiverse back together

Theres a few more side details like how before Divine corrupted, he found a Dreamtale AU and helped nurture it behind Ink's back, giving them the life he wanted for himself and his brother, and how after Nightmare's death Killer, Dust and Horror all took up pieces of his leftover power, with Killer having the most of it and being able to move thorough shadows and make tendrils of corruption

Thats basically the whole jist of it tho, i think most if not all of the divine au stuff can be found under #divine!dream sans or #divine utmv so ye :b

Asking the REAL UTMV questions: what accents do they have? (Ignore the fact that them having different accents while essentially being the same guy doesn't make a whole lotta sense)

Weretoons Horrortale animation changed my brain chemistry forever, so Horror is British

Nightmare has a smooth English accent, but not naturally. Dream would speak without an accent but Nightmare wouldn't, so it'd be obvious it's fake lol

Not an accent but I can only hear Error being voiced by Audiospawn, I will never imagine another voice for him

Same goes for Fell tbh, the boston(?) accent fits him well I think

Fresh has an accent? I think? Like similar to Fell's? Dunno how to describe it (this dub of Underverse was not only the first time I'd heard a dub of Fresh but it has also now changed my brain chemistry and will forever be how I hear him)

Also Killer having the raspy, kinda scratchy voice? And it also has an accent? I'm terrible at explaining this shit but you get what I mean right??

Those are the ones I have headcanons for but I'm curious what other people's voice claims/ideas about them are

Also for my own Sanses, Plum would sound like Sonic X's Rouge but flatter if that makes sense, my idea for Passion's voice has changed from him sounding like Perri from FOP to him having a more feminine voice. I can think of any examples off the top of my head tho qwq

Divine would have a deep masculine voice and a monotone tone, he speaks with almost no emotion, I wanna say it'd be a mix of Mufasa from the og Lion King and Mordecai from Lackadaisy

My own UTMV Headcanons/voice claims for my own Sanses

I ALMOST did Jax for Plum but then I remembered Affogato Cookie and thought that was a much better fit, maybe he'd be a good third option for Killer's voice?

Sans himself is hard to pick for ngl, there's so many good interpretations of him out there. Could've went with Moistcritical's voice but instead went for Markiplier just to be ✨️different✨️/silly

Nightmare's is probably my favorite next to Divine and Passion (which you can tell by just how much i put for him) but I also love all of these hence why I picked them lol

I feel glad to be getting back into UTMV tho, I missed it qwq

Trans men and transmascs who use a word for their oppression are blamed for this

A popular forcemasc blog starts getting hate, death threats, and demands to “delete out of solidarity” (this would achieve nothing except silencing more trans people)

The random person who accused the forcefem blog of incest starts targeting the forcemasc blog too

The forcemasc blog either gets deleted or goes private (hopefully the latter)
