Apple propaganda notwithstanding, the reason tower PCs are big isn’t because they’re outdated. The reason tower PCs are so bulky is because they’re designed to be user serviceable. The case has lots of open space so your big, meaty hands can easily access all of the components, and everything is secured with friction-fit tabs and standard machine screws to minimise the need for specialised tools. A properly laid out tower PC is fully serviceable with a single Phillips-head screwdriver and no greater manual skill than your average Lego playset – heck, for some of the more modern case layouts you don’t even need the screwdriver, unless you’re performing major surgery like a full motherboard replacement.

Like, think about who benefits from convincing you that a fully modular computing device that can be serviced and repaired with your bare hands and minimal technical skill is unfashionable.

I gotta be real with everyone: I thought Joltik was just a meme.

Like I thought it was one of those pokemon-blend creations that everyone was doing a few years ago. I thought it was Jolteon combined with <fucking, i dunno, something small and cute> whose outcome everyone loved because hell yeah small, cute, bug, thing and I just thought this started a wagon of Joltik fan content.

This was my passive belief until right now, brought into question by all the comics of Emmet owning 7 billion Joltiks, one of which mentioned a named evolutionary form, and I finally went "Oh I Think It's A Pokemon."

even if amber heard is the “real abuser” and johnny depp is totally innocent or whatever i feel like making funcams or youtube videos titled “amber heard being a lying bitch for 17 minutes” or “johnny depp being a poor little meow meow for 10 minutes” to wii music is still freakish behavior. and maybe we shouldn’t be treating a domestic abuse case like it’s an episode of euphoria?
