Sitting in a coffee shop well before I should even consider leaving my bed, and I’m confronted with just how much I truly miss this guitar. Don’t get me wrong, playing Weezer tunes on the right gear has been fun as well as informative, but I’m a Jazzmaster diehard at heart, and nothing feels quite as right as my #1. I don’t think Artoo’s been out of ‘er case in weeks, maybe a month; I opened it just now in this café, and the rush of new guitar smell accosted me, bringing a mix of nostalgia and guilt, which could be the same thing.
