Bible Work with the Stang
To Plant the Stang: "He shall be as a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. All he does shall prosper"
To Invoke the Stang as Curser: (A coin is placed at the foot of the stang) So Judas threw the money into the temple, and left. He went that way and hanged himself (a rope is tied on the left horn of the Stang)
To Invoke the Stand as Curse Bearer: "The next day, as they ere leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree "may no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard him say it.
To invoke the Serpent of the Wood for Healing:
"Then the Lord said to Moses: "Make a fiery serpent and put it on a flagpole; and it shall come about that everyone who is bitten, looks at it and will live" (a snake icon is placed at the foot or wrapped around the Stang)
To invoke the Stang as Bringer of Love:
"How beautiful you are, my darling! O' how beautiful! Your eyes are doves. How handsome you are, my beloved! O' How Charming, our bed is verdant, the beams of our house are cedars; our rafters are firs."

“It’s a tasty fish, I have nothing against it. But because it’s supposedly filled with impurities; my wife she buys it live. And for three days it’s been swimming up and down in my bathtub. Up and down. And I hate it. I can’t stand the sight of it, moving its gills. You’re standing very close to me Father, have you noticed? I haven’t had a bath in three days. I can’t go home till the carp is asleep, because if I do I’ll kill it.”
WHO THOUGHT OF THIS? WHO WROTE THIS?

I made this as a goof a few weeks ago, and thought I may as well release it into the world. Fare thee well, Lowly Yaldabaoth!

We should deeply consider why we dislike the use of the word "womb" in witchcraft circles and why we accept phallocentric language without question

In the fields, la migra. My aunt saying, "No corran, don't run. They'll think you're del otra lao." In the confusion, Pedro ran, terrified of being caught. He couldn't speak English, couldn't tell them he was fifth generation American. Sin papeles - he did not carry his birth certificate to work in the fields. La migra took him away while we watched. Se lo llevaron. He tried to smile when he looked back at us, to raise his fist. But I saw the shame pushing his head down, I saw the terrible weight of shame hunch his shoulders. They deported him to Guadalajara, by plane. The furthest he'd ever been to Mexico was Reynosa, a small border town opposite Hidalgo, Texas, not far from McAllen. Pedro walked all the way to the Valley. Se lo llevaron sin una centavo al pobre. Se vino andando desde Guadalajara.
- Gloria Anzaldúa, from Borderlands/La Frontera, published 1987.
In case you thought that putting people on planes and sending them away illegally was a new thing for the United States.

this makes sense, Ty! I really appreciate it :)
Think I have my natal chart mostly figured out; (thank you mystmagia hahaha) though the one I made from Astroseek shows Algol at 29 degrees on my MC, which is at 26 degrees Taurus. According to my book (holy shit how did I forget I had this????) Algol Culminates at 18 degree Taurus and rises at around 15 degrees Aries for my longitude. Astroseek also shows Deneb Alegi conjunct mars but it’s conjunct Rukbat according to Brady. The rest seems to match up with what the books saying. I’m inclined to trust Brady. Fixed stars was published a year prior to my birth so I trust the degrees are accurate for me. Not particularly displeased about not having Algol in my chart 🤣

Ugh thank you!!! 🙌🏻
ok so you check for a fixed star conjunction by checking the degree of the star and then matching it within a few degrees of a planet/aspect right right?
I drew up my natal chart and it showed regulus on my ASC(Leo) at 29 degrees, I thought it’s projected degree was 0 degrees Virgo and Alphard’s degree 27 degrees Leo? Shouldn’t it be showing Alphard?
I am still pretty new at this so idk maybe I’m just misunderstanding?
