GISHWHES

Haven’t heard of GISHWHES? The scavenger hunt has been happening every year since 2011. Teams of 15 participants work together to cross challenges off a massive list. Each challenge is worth points. An example from the 2014 list: “VIDEO. Throw someone a surprise party with friends they haven’t seen in more than 10 years. Film the first moment of their surprise re-encounter.” The winning team gets an amazing prize, and this year, a lucky group will receive an all expenses paid trip to the jungles of Costa Rica with Collins.

That’s GISHWHES in a nutshell. The icing on the cake? The scavenger hunt is about more than fun, it’s about giving back. It’s the single largest donor to Random Acts, and the hunt has earned Guinness World Records for things like “the most charitable pledges worldwide.”
