I think I have a serious weak spot for men that are easily flustered when shown the slightest bit of interest XD (yeah especially the love/touche-starved ones) On a more serious note, apologies for being non existent lately, depression stroke again pretty badly. Playing rogue trader has been my lifeline for the past couple of weeks, and I seriously wasn't thinking I'd enjoy it that much. First time playing a Warhammer 40 000 game, and I freakin' loved it. Gothic fantasy in space is dark as f**** but there are so many great ideas... Ok I get why people like it now ... And yeah, I'm not immune to space wizards.... obviously, lol I wasn't expecting romances in this game, even less good ones... But I've been blown away by Heinrix' writing... And his voice actor just did an amazing job bringing him to life.

Feeling a lot of feelings about how Hadestown doesn't present the story as "Orpheus turned around and everything fell apart and there was nothing anyone could do to fix it" and instead presents a story that says "he turned around, he doubted, he failed, but if we keep telling his story maybe one day Orpheus won't" and it's not just about Orpheus as a single character, it's a bout every Orpheus, everyone who runs up against a system they can't change and fails and everyone who sees that failure and gets back up and says "maybe I can change it now" and tries again. That Orpheus failed isn't the takeaway of the story. The takeaway is that one day he might succeed.
