Dixie let out a loving sigh which was interrupted by a chuckle. “I don’t mind it. Can you always be like this?” She smiled. “that means more breakfast in bed and all right?” The demon reached up and gently played with Alex’s hair. “I can’t begin to describe how you make me feel Alex, something I never thought I would feel before. Something my parents never gave me. After being treated so cruel and hated for so long this is.. refreshing.. but overwhelming.. In a good way? I.. think?”

I can understand why rock stars are rock stars and why they play in front of people because the buzz that you get is insane. It’s probably the same as when you do something on stage and you work off the audience. The buzz you get when you’re playing a song and everyone is screaming and dancing and what have you and singing along is incredible.
