Neve's Case Notes: Beso;

Even Minrathous had heard of the Drake, if you ask the right people. Miners, glass blowers, juwelliers, sometimes soldiers passing from eastern frontlines: the man has a brand and sticks to it. Not much on him, except that he sits in prison back in Marothius. Allegedly. From time to time. Which is something for a soporati. Does he have powerful mages around? Knuckles deep in someone’s pocket? Unlikely, given the scraps people whisper about. He emerges in the cooperatives, amongst workers and slaves, and there’s always a fair barter. A warning. A bargain struck. What’s worse  — he delivers.  Word is he bargained with Kashtaar. Word has it the reason for Ashur's recent headaches smokes pipe and says comrade.

So I went and made a joke about Lucanis actually being First Talon in my first post a year ago, and then the game went and actually did it after all. Insane.

Anyway, I think Lucanis with his out of pocket romantic lines like "If all the gods have to die for you, it's a small price to pay" is perfectly capable of flirting (or unintentionally flirting) with Rook once he's comfortable enough, so in post-canon he can and would tease and bully Renzo reacreationally as much as he wants. And Renzo? He loves a confident man, especially when it's Lucanis who's finally not afraid to express how he feels, what can I say.

Also, forgive me for yapping, but I think Renzo would try to make the whole Talon ordeal Lucanis didn't want easier for him in the only ways he knows how: by making jokes about it and staying by Lucanis' side as his self-appointed partner and bodyguard. Since they are both very much bought into the Crows' worldview, it would take them some time to realize how bad this position actually is for the both of them, and boy do they get unhinged when the other's in danger.
