Milford Sound
>The Milford Track is for many people the dream destination par excellence. For more than 100 years it has been luring hikers to Fiordland in New Zealand. Outdoor editor Alex Krapp travelled to New Zealand to spend four days on the legendary Milford Track. On this 6 hour tour from Queenstown you can explore part of the popular Milford Track, including a scenic flight. You fly directly over the Fiordland to Milford Sound and then take the ferry to one of New Zealand's Great Walks. as I did not necessarily want to drive the track alone, I had already decided to book a guided tour in Germany. A punctual start, a relaxed drive, a nice excursion by boat and on the way home further visits of natural beauties. let us always keep the day in best memory. A short boat trip across the Deep Water Basin will take you to the starting point of your tour at Sandfly Point. Enjoy the highlights of Milford Sound in a combination package. Take a guided morning walk on the Milford Track through lush green forest and to Giant Gate waterfall.
{On one look||Hammer Tour! I would do it over and over again. Awesome! |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| (whispering)
Directly after Glade House the way leads over the longest of the numerous suspension bridges on the Milford Track.
Soon you will reach the fascinating Mackay Falls and Bell Rock.
Stay less than 800 meters between the steep flanks of the Clinton Valley.
>New Zealand is working hard to maintain its green image.
Similar to a big concert, all the seats in the cabins are otherwise taken on the desired days and the disappointment is great. You can book via the DOC online booking system or in one of the local DOC offices, like the one in Te Anau. If you have always wanted to hike the Milford Track, then it is time to start planning. It is not only one of the 9 Great Walks of New Zealand, but has long been considered "the most beautiful walk in the world". Pack as lightly as possible, a backpack that is too heavy makes the most beautiful tour a strain. For a small fee we can store your normal luggage in Te Anau, where you can pick it up again after the hike. If you have a rental car, you can leave your normal luggage in the car. The sky above Milford Sound is buzzing with sightseeing flights. More beautiful and less stressful for hikers on the ground is a flight over the unknown side of Fiordland with the floatplane of wingsandwater.co.nz.
