Ugh I didn’t want to make this post in English but y’all need to watch Diablero. It’s a supernatural show revolving Mexican demon hunters but nothing like all the stuff American shows are, part of the magic is based on existing beliefs in Mexico and they include náhuatl. While some of the actors if not most will be unfamiliar they have some pretty famous actors in there, one of the main guys, they have Korean-Mexicans, which a lot of people don’t even know exist. As a Mexican I’ve never seen myself in the tv or my world so vividly, I can’t even make a good case cause I’m so excited, just watch it, it’s funny although idk how well some of the humor translates since I watched the whole thing in Spanish, but it’s interesting, it brings up a very real issue the church has not only Mexico but everywhere, and it offers a “fresh” lens to a very popular genre.

Adora: caught a dove with her bare hands and screamed

Glimmer: pestered our dad for six months for pet chickens until he got so annoyed that he bought her two hens. we now have 14 chickens.

Bow: deadass shot at a squirrel, hit it, and started apologizing. don’t know to who, but she was super sorry. the squirrel survived.

Catra: whispered to herself “am i a lesbian?” while at ihop

Scorpia: stuck hand drawn stickers all over my bed frame, laptop, and phone case as a special surprise

Entrapta: controlled alexa via the app in another city and played africa by toto at the highest volume while i was trying to sleep

Mermista: knocked a plate of lasagna out of my hands because i had just had my wisdom teeth removed and wasn’t allowed solid foods but i love lasagna

Seahawk: played ocean man by ween everyday for two months

Swift Wind: yelled “what is this, communism?” when my dad told her to share a meal with my mom

Netossa: when i asked her what she was doing she deadpanned and said “taxes” when she was clearly drawing. she was drawing various legs and i was confused.
