His name is Shadow, just got him this January. A little skittish but doesn't bite. Very cute and energetic!Rest In Peace Cinnamon, you gave me a wonderful two years.
So I adopted a dog last week (her name is Katie) and she’s very curious about Shadow! She likes to watch him, shows no signs of aggression or wanting to eat him though.
Disclaimer: I have a towel over the cage and some heavy books stacked on top so she can’t get the screen open and so she doesn’t just stare at him all night. Doesn’t stop her from trying though!

Burrowing under his food bowl, spilling all the food and then burrowing under the potty trainer and spilling his old soiled bedding everywhere (which he later burrowed through as well)
me: i love hamsters so much but the fact that there’s wild hamsters makes me go??? NUTS???? imagine teeny tiny little hamsters running around the wild….no hamster wheels….no water bottles….no cages……they’re small and cute how could tiny hamsters survive…
