The thing is, a lot of Saiki ships are actually super peak (Saiteru, Saiura, Saitou, Saikechi, and a few rareships like Toritsai and Kubosai) but the fandom has engraved it into their skulls that Saiki is AroAce 💔🥀

And honestly, there's nothing wrong with that headcanon, and I like seeing AroAce presentation, but I'd like to emphasise that that's just a HEADCANON – legit, I've seen someone say "Saiki is canonically aro ace! The tsundure thing is just a headcanon!" – ho, it's the other way around ‼️

The reason Saiki K is so funny is because he's an unreliable narrator – not everything he says is true or comes true – and what makes his character loveable is that he's a tsundure, as he has verbally mentioned in the grandpa episode when he said, and I quote, "You've been a tsundure way longer than I have."

Not to mention the anime has made him seem more nonchalant :( in the mangga, he's way more expressive in terms of body language and facial expressions, which further makes me think that without his powers, he'd genuinely just be like his dad 🥹

Again, the AroAce headcanon is harmless, but don't go shitting on other ships because you're blinded by this false narrative that Saiki is actually AroAce.

genuinely don’t get people who say Saiki hates his friends (not that it’s something I see often) cause like there are plenty of times in the manga where he saves their lives when despite what he says it would have been less suspicious to do so the ones I think of are when he stopped that guy from stabbing Hairo when he saved Nendou from the plantpot his clone tried to kill him with and when he stopped Nendou’s camera from falling on Kaidou and when the three of them (plus that random lady) were going to drown and that time when he accidentally caused Saiko’s boat to crash and saved ALL of his friends who were there yes he should have saved some of them so it wouldn’t be suspicious if he was the lone survivor but in a boat crash what are the chances that ALL the people on board make it out ok plus there’s times where he helps them from just shit that’ll make them sad like when he kills that guy that was stealing from Kaidou/tricking Kaidou into doing his homework he doesn’t even defend that one there was literally no reason for him to do that and that’s just the main three of his friend group and barely scratching the surface
