Using the 30 seconds opportunities!
In all these years of taking elevators, I have come across people (and customers) who in just 30 seconds convinced me to seek further talks. This also reminds me in contrast, of the many other times I took the elevator with bunch of people who focused on their phones and didn’t say a word (though I knew they came for job & loan interviews).
Here is my take, you can’t afford to live without being able to pitch yourself in 30 seconds, it is professionally suicidal. Staying prepared in every moment is a MUST if one has to succeed. Leaving that up to fate is a tribute way too expensive to pay!

Be careful, nobody is going to remember your life or your career if you have no identity of your own. We all remember uncommon people; hard work without originality is a waste. Stand out and be unique, it is ok sometimes to go to the RIGHT when everybody else is thinking LEFT... be yourself!
